I've lost the serial number for my Adobe Illustrator...is there any way to get it back? (It is an OLD Adobe Illustrator...Version 7.0)

Isnt it usually in a manual or on the back of a CD cover? Even if you cant find it it only asks when you are installing it doesnt it? It does with most programs..... but if it comes down to it just try to find someone else who has the program and ask them if you could use their number... but of course thats probably illegal... I think....

Yea, I'm trying to install it, and somehow, the Serial Number is nowhere to be found! And noone I know has this program! :(

It could need a program that you dont have? Like Direct X for games?

Sir Goulum 10-11-2002 05:17 PM

Not that I can see. Its a relatively old program, seeing as they now have Adobe Illustrator 10.0

Check the System Requirements- should be on the box somewhere.

Could it be that the processor I have is much better than needed? I have a PowerPC G3, and it needs a 68030 or greater processer, including Power Macintosh.

hmmm normally the mac versions numbers can be over ridden by asking the people at adobe to let you in by giving them some other product code... and it it's a really old version they'll probably just give you a cerial number that works for everybody lIke with A-10 cuba... and Full Throttle Those are the only programs i ever lost the serial to tho
