To get anywhere on IW I find that lately I've often had to click a thread or forum link twice, thrice or even more to get it to start loading. And sometimes pages stop loading half-way through. It's really annoying. Is anyone else getting this?

Run a virus check dude !

I've got a virus scanner running at all times, I'd probably have caught it as it entered my comp if I could.

And I doubt it's a virus, it only happens on IW. A quick test has also shown that it doesn't not load, it just doesn't load till 20 or so seconds after I've clicked.

I sometimes get this - but only at busy times when all the americans are hogging the bandwidth. Sometimes the server gets bogged down with all the traffic and either cant respond to or never recieves your request.

yeah its happened to me on occaision i thought it was just busy and came back later

Yep Nebby has right this is what happening here to also when i post i most sometimes push the Refresh button the get it work or i get that annoying "page not find" error aggg i hate that! And i have to type the whole darn message again!!!

I have got this sometimes too. Even though it doesnt say its loading it usually loads after 10 seconds.

Yeah, i`m getting that all the time. And im also having the thing Megabot is talking about. Really annoying..

Well it happens to me (frequently) and I use IE6 not Opera ;)

Yeah, it happens to me at busy times, like at 11-12Noon EST when the Europeans are hogging the bandwidth. :D

Last night everytime I clicked a link on IW the browser window would close... I'd try again... it closed... tried again, window closed... tried a different link... the window closed again... so I gave up and signed off. Things are working fine now though. I've had what you were talking about before, Neb. It's been pretty good lately though.

Before I was forced to replace my cpu and motherboard a few days ago, every time I opened up IW from my favs list, I'd get booted offline completely...it only happened with that one link out of my favs and I could get on IW going the long route through tge with no problems...at the time, I thought it was just me and my dying system.
Everything seems to be working fine now, for me anyway.

I frequently get images not loading. One time, no images loaded [img]tongue.gif[/img] . One time the bumpy backround didn't load so it was blinding white :eek: But whatever....probably just my comp
