It’s late in the second era. Ironworks has just evolved from the blue board into a new higher society, where flaming and spamming only exist in the kind of story’s used to scare children.
From his throne in the grand city of General Discussion, Lord Ziroc watches his board grow to incredible size. But… treason is just around the corner. For Ziroc’s cat, the malevolent Chocolate is jealous of his master’s success and forges a number of disks as gifts to the Ironworks members.
But… Choc deceived the members of Ironworks. Having another backup made of the master disk he gave Ziroc. Infecting the original one with a deadly virus that would destroy all who used it. Dark clouds fell over middle-Ironworks.

Three for the admins, on their thrones of HTML
Seven for the moderators, for their boards alone
Nine for the most prominent members, doomed to be banned.
One for the Cat-overlord, on his throne of trolls,
In a free Xorbit board, where the shadows lie….

But Ziroc suspected his cats treachery, and called Memnoch, his most loyal follower to him in his throne room.

Memnoch: Lord Ziroc, thy have summoned me?
Ziroc: Did Choc give you any of his disks?
Memnoch: Yeah, he gave me this cool DvD.
Ziroc: Have you used it yet?
Memnoch: No, but I was just about to run it.
Ziroc: You’d better not. Here take mine.
Memnoch: Why….?
Ziroc: Because I’m telling you too, c’mon take it.
Memnoch: Alright, alright, here you go. *takes the disk.
Ziroc: Well done, now throw it in the microwave!
Memnoch: What ..….
Ziroc: Do it!
Memnoch: Alright *puts it in the oven.
Memnoch: Listen Z., perhaps y…
Ziroc: Wait! Look!
Memnoch: I don’t see anything.
Ziroc: Just take the disk out of the microwave.
Memnoch: Are you nuts?
Ziroc: Do it!
Memnoch: Alright, alright. *grabs the disk.
Memnoch: Its cold! And it seems thicker then before!
Ziroc: Look at the inner edge of the central hole.
Memnoch: An inscription, in lines finer than anything I have ever seen before!
Ziroc: Can you read what it says?
Memnoch: Yes… the inscriptions are shining now. piercingly bright, and yet remote, as if out of a great depth.
Ziroc: Let me see.

Only when he saw what was written on the disk, did Ziroc learn the dark truth..

Memnoch: But there is still t…

*messenger comes running in.
Dizzy: my Lord Ziroc! Urgent message from mistress Epona!
Ziroc: What is it? Speak man!
Dizzy: My lord, unholy rituals are going on in a nearby Xorbit board!
Ritual chantings are flowing through all its links to Ironworks.
Memnoch: Then Choc is already moving against us. We are unprepared! Is this the end?
Ziroc: No my friend, just the beginning! Dizzy, can you take a message back to your mistress?
Dizzy: Of course milord.
Ziroc: Then tell her the following…

Sorry guys, but the LOTR part was actually more of an opening. This was intended to be a prequel to IW: The movieI. But if everyone wants me to turn this in a Lord of the Rings story, then I will do so.(at your own risk)

Velkyn, ever thought of putting all these stories up on a website one day? It'll be much easier to read through the entire story then, instead of having to search for the old ones and skip all the "wow! great!" or "I wanna be in as well!" messages. Just a suggestion though. ;)

Ziroc: I ordered Epona and her assistant, LoA, to watch the border and inform us if Choc makes a move.

*Reeka comes stumbling into the room.
Reeka: Master, I seem to have finally perfected my taunt spell. By the way, the Duke is at the front gates with his elite guard. Could you please explain this to him?
Ziroc: Forget about the duke. How is our backup plan progressing? Can you send the demon to Choc yet?
Reeka: Almost master. Unfortunately, we were all out of candles. So I used lanterns on the pentagram instead.
Ziroc: What?!
Reeka: I’m sure it’ll work just as fine.
Ziroc: Please tell me you didn’t cast the spell yet.
Reeka: I didn’t.
Ziroc: Thank god.
Reeka: I couldn’t figure this last thing out.

Meanwhile, at the border. The ever vigilant Epona, and her brave assisant take their duty very serieusly.

Epona: I’ll call the Ironworks Emergency hotline from my cell phone. You get word to Ziroc!
LoA: At once mistress! *Runs off into the woods.

Suddenly, a group of Orcs comes through the link
Chieftain Sazerac: Methinks me knows this smell. Human female it is. Spread out and find her!
Epona: Uh oh.

Neb, USS, you are both on my list as Wringwraiths. I have Lioness writen down as Arwen, and Attalus as Aragorn. Still figuring out who to sign up as Frodo. Suggestions are welcome, though I would prefer a public figure on IW to play the main part.
And Legolas, I've never read bored of the Rings. I think up most of the jokes during the day and write them down as I go along. But there is also a part I picked up from websites and message boards.
