British Summertime.. codename:- R.A.I.N

It isn't fair.. this time last year I was lying around in the sun.. this year we have been treated to the rainy season to end all rainy seasons... and I'm meant to live in the "hot" part of britain.. Grrr!!

So who has a hot place where I can come and live over the summer? One that actually has some sun in JULY instead of sheet rain and mud?

Answers on a postcard...

*smile*

Helspanth 06-07-2002 06:08 PM

Actually I was complaining about beeing too hot here in Hellas!
29 degrees and July hasn't even come yet... :D

Daniel 06-07-2002 06:09 PM

I know the feeling, it's been pissing it down over here in Rochdale all week.

canadianvixen 06-07-2002 06:12 PM

I'd love to help you out but we had snow right up until the end of May. :(

Linora 06-07-2002 06:13 PM

Well, we had a brief break in the rain here in Hastings to allow the gale force winds in...

Greece will do me fine

Your going to hate me for this, but here in aberdeen (NE scotland for those whove never heard of it) (and for those beyond hope, scotland is north of england) were having one of the hottest summers weve had for a while. Not as hot as 2000, but definatley better than 2001.

Arvon 06-07-2002 06:20 PM

Well we've been having high 80's to 100 F in northern Californina. :D

You can send us about half that rain.

Cheers,

Consider yourself lucky Linora.I would love to switch lives with you.I like rain. For some reason when it's raining during the day and it's partly dark and it's raining so bad that you can barely hear the thunder makes my day better.

Of course I like the rain!I just helps me express my tormented depressed soul through my drawings.Becuz most of my drawings are deprssing like in one.A guy was crying his eyes out becuz he had just got a letter saying his girlfriend had been shot and killed.I even like to write poems that express stuff like that.

Linora 06-07-2002 07:17 PM

Ah, yes, the hot day.. I remember that...

Make sure it's silver foil Pauly, none of that cheap aluminium or tin stuff

Lord of Alcohol 06-07-2002 07:36 PM

Just picked a roll from the occult shop Laura! Talk about luck! It could have been a BAD night!

Yeah, in my experience, it's difficult to sleep through a bout of astral belly-fondling. Although it could just be indigestion ;)

Lord of Alcohol 06-07-2002 07:43 PM

Well it COULD be Epona so I've taken the liberty of putting foil on my antacid tablets! The "end" result is somewhat painful but well worth it for my peace of mind

Epona 06-07-2002 07:45 PM

ROFLMFAO!!!!! LOL Pauly, that is probably what is *causing* the indigestion! And it will cause far worse than that when nature takes its course ;)
