Apparently her mother is proud of her too. Some people really do have shit for brains.
|
Well, she would've done well in high school biology, except she quit school. An 11 year old out partying, drinking, smoking, & having sex. Couldn't the mother (the adult one) be charged with neglect for letting the girl run wild like that?
|
She might as well be strangling the baby around the neck. The smoking has been and is depriving its developing brain from receiving enough oxygen, and there is a chance she'll deliver before the nine months are up, so the lungs will not be fully developed and will have to stay in one of those bubbles for a while in the hospital. The baby is going to be born with so many negatives against its potential...yet she says that she does not think the 20/day affects the pregnancy. She's just 12, so she is not expected to be smart enough, but her mother should face neglect charges.
|
Perhaps when she inevitably gets herself pregnant again shell know better than to smoke 20 cigarettes per day so her next baby won't have whatever flaws this one is going to have.
|
She don't care about the baby's health, that's not the kind of person that will even take care of her kids.
|
I feel sorry for the baby, not the kid. People like taht should not be allowed to breed

It's a joke, right? Really?
The 12-year-old's 34-year-old mom thinks it's great... and the 12-year-old doesn't want to leave her five other brothers and sisters... I think social services is missing something here. The inability to be a fit parent does not start with the 12-year-old... it starts with the mom who's letting her smoke a pack a day, drink, and get laid. And sorry, while the Papists have a point, the real issues are not just the sex. I wonder if this would qualify as parental abuse? *shakes head* My daughter's nine. I just can't imagine that world. Really. |
How the hell does the gov not see anything wrong with this?

Not knowing anything about biology: is a 12-year old even physically capable of caring for a child (breastfeeding, etc)?
One thing that makes me mad is when, in situations like this, its somehow the responsible thing to keep the baby, rather than put it up for adoption. Even without abortion entering into the picture, how can you say that this baby will end up living a better life with a teenage mother, and a 35 (!) year old grandmother, than with a couple that cannot give birth but can provide all the other needs for the child. I resent the attitude that some people seem to have where somehow, putting a baby up for adoption is a weakness of character. |
This is one mixed up family! I'm on the side of those that think the girl's mother should face negligence/abuse charges for letting her run wild like that at that age. Her child is harmed and now the grandchild will also be harmed by being born with whatever setbacks the smoking/drinking lead to as well as the ineveitable problems they'll have with a 'mom' who's still a kid and a grandmother who obviously lost her 'mature and responsible' genes someplace along the way. :(
|
You're assuming that "grandmother" had some "mature and responsible" genes to begin with, Cloudy...
The "grandmother" has six kids. This 11-year old is not the youngest (she's taken care of her brothers), but she may not be the oldest, either. Sad. Really, really sad. |

Ok, there are some rather stupid people in the world. If a girl gets pregnant that young they shouldn't let her keep the child, I definitely wouldn't keep it if it's from someone who raped me.
And yes I agree social services should do something about this, inspect the mother and see how fit or unfit she is as a parent. |
It's so nice to see that everywhere you go, white trash is the same. Thank God there will always be the useless dumb and downtrodden serfs for us to stand upon, and thank God they are so worthless, otherwise we might feel bad. Thank God there are these people whom we can affirmatively say "I am better than you," and "My life is worth more than yours." Thank God for that, because of them we don't have to pretend all people are equal. Some people are lesser. Everyone, meet your lesser.
