It IS pathetic to use items such as this IMHO.
|
Hmm lets see if i can remember the stats for it...
35 AC bonus Counts as a +10 weapon THAC0: +50 Damage: 1d10+1000, +1500 fire, +1500 magic, +1500 cold, +1000 piercing, +1000 slashing, and an additional 1000 of undisclosed damage 8 attacks per turn (if you get more proficiencies, you'll get a max of 10 attacks per turn) 100% magic resistance Immunity to: charm, panic, sleep, slow, stun, fatigue, hold, Confusion, feeblemindedness, web, and some others There are no race, class, or alignment restrictions on it, so everyone can use it This seems to be the weapon that the programmers assigned to the invincible killer thief in the Thieves' Guild which spawns if you kill Aran Linvail while working for him im so good :D |
Makes you wonder why is it the Shadow Thieves do not just sent Arkanis, their one man army wonder to lay down the smack on Bodhi and her vampires with that weapon... Hell, they might as well take over Faerun also.
|
yeah the weapon was implimented as a fail safe mechanism, so you couldn't kill the shadow thieves, they wanted the game to go smoothly and if you killed them then the game would not be able to progress
To Glorfindel: lol your sig picture seems to change everyweek now a days lol, I still remember the sprite of the little elf guy wielding two swords, I miss that little fellow :( |

P.S to Daniel_M You forgot one more little detail on that list of yours, it has a range of 100, there's no way you are running away from this guy lol |
I'm not sure. I just want to check this sword but how do you creat it?

Yep but SK is still news for me.
|
You don't need to use SK for that.
If you have added the debugmode line to the baldur.ini file you can summon it like any other object. Check www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/baldursgate2/cheats.shtml for details, under "cheats built into the game". I doubt it'll be much fun to use after the first few minutes though. |
I ahve tested this weapon many times and have found that it can kill, pratically anything (apart from a mage with stoneskin or ironskin). I have found that it can kill a troll while it's on the floor without being a weapon of fire etc.... And that the average Hit points for this weapon is around 1013.... And for all the people that will use this in duels on Gamespy, don't be so pathetic..lol

if the sword is that good, it must make the game kinda too easy cause there would be no challenge.

Still i guess once youve completed the game a couple of times, then you've kindof earnt the right to use it, anyway it could be useful when your trying to make up ground after a save game failiure...
