- - how to make a high hit-point char without *cheating* (http://www.ironworksforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7815)

Um, I hope this isn't cheating, but here goes-
If you create your own party with multiplayer you tend to get characters with higher hit points. In a party with some fighters, I got a mage with 115 hit points, and another time, in a party with a lot of fighters, I got a monk with 90 something hit points. I think they put there so that people would enjoy playing multiplayer with characters that are equal, not with one person cortrollong a fighter with 120 hit points, and another player has to control some stinky bard with 40 hit points. Or maybe it's just a bug.

To use that same character in a single player game, just export it and then import it into a new single player game.

my half orc barbarian is currently on 184hp legit and counting. Im on LVL17 (with another 23 to go becuase of TOB). I tend to reload at lvl ups to get the most HP that i can.

why not just go into options and select "max hit-points per level"?

It is called, reducing the difficulty level to 'Normal', before you click on the level up button. You will then get maximum Hp when you level up. Do not forget to change back your difficulty level after you level up.

there is a MUCH better way to get high hitpoints... but I wont give away my secrets... and this is a completely legit way.. without exploiting bugs or anything... well actually if you are good then you have to exploit a bug... but if your evil it works well...

With my best Bladesinger he has over 200HP!, I did have to use a bug in my game to get him that high.... but my best evil sorcerer has about 250HP without using a bug... I wonder if any of you are getting the idea Of what I have done ;)

theifprowess 05-24-2002 06:55 AM

i got my paladin sittin pretty at 347hp.legitly.
tob deck of many things,"moon" save import. over and over ive done it only a couple of times cause it takes forever.but before my pali was at 287 natural hit points.pals and fighters gain more hit points in the beginning and thruout the game generally.

This is to add legitimately infinte amounts of HP to mages, so read if you dare: (Glorfy, sorry if this is spoiling for your technique or not, but here goes)

1) Start game with mage known with spell Find Familiar. Cast it, and save the game with the familiar in your pack.

2) Start a new game with the saved character data imported.

3) This character will have the bonus HP, but not the familiar! Repeat speps 1-3.

Remember, this is ruining some of the fun of the game, because you play for the challenge, not the success eh?

CHEATER!! INFINITE HIT POINTS THROUGH REPEATED IMPORTS ARE FAR FROM "NATURAL!!"

Dwarven Barbarian, 19 constitution, 20 with ToB. has in the region of 260 HP, without ANY cheats, bug exploits, or any editing. Just pure and simple KILLING. :D

theifprowess 05-24-2002 02:08 PM

importing is not cheating..its one of the standard commands your game allows you to do.
now using shadowkeeper to up hitpoints and stat points is cheating.
besides are you saying that the deck of many things is a cheating item?if you got the time and effort to go thru WK to get it then its not cheating. typing up a deck under the CLUAConsole now is cheating. and i would never do that. i play the game trhu and thru cause really there is nothin else to do.

Uhm, can you please splain to me how this is legitimate when all you are doing is exploiting the game?

Legitimate to me would be actually acruing the HP through campaigning and finishing quests thereby gaining experience points to properly level up.

I agree with you, Importing is not cheating. However it is exploiting the game, which in turn is NOT a natural way to get HP.
