Man, I didn't mean to do this, but I had my mage cast the spell Shapechange and turned my mage into a Greater Wolfwere. Then, I decided to call it a day and saved it right then. The next day, I started a new game with my mage imported from that save. Now my mage is immune to normal weapons, has neverending regeneration, and (I believe) that my mage has magic resistance now, haven't checked yet. I was wondering what other things you can do with the shapechange/import from save combo. Has anyone tried this?

hmm sounds like a good combo... when you get all these super stats (regen and stuff) were u still in werewolf form? like when u imported your char again were u still in form them? that would be cool to have all those stats and still be a mage..

no, I didn't keep my werewolf shape, but I kept the stats, though.

Nice........
But there are more secrets like that in Baldurs Gate 2... By the way, nice discovery. [ 05-21-2002, 06:44 PM: Message edited by: Lazarus ] |

Shapechange is a lvl 9 Mage spell. He most probably got ToB installed. You can choose either Greater Werewolf, Mind Flayer or Iron Golem.

no what would be brutal is if you can do that with the mindflayer shapechange ability. that way all you waould have to do is cast timestop instead of both.
