Just wondered if you are able to get and use the moonblade?
No, it is only usable by the enchanter, Xan.
how do you get Xan?
There are two moonblades in the BG series. One belongs to Xan, who is a depressed(and depressing) enchanter you can pick up at the bottom of the Nashkel Mines, back in BG1.
The other is in suldanesselar and is bound to an elf who you cant recruit. (IE you cant use it). But you do need that blade to solve a puzzle |
Actually, there is a moonblade in SOA.
"Ya know, I was like a...yeah, like a moonblade once". Sound familiar? :D |
lol, I always use lilarcor
Lilarcor also claimed his grandmother thought he'd never be more than an ordinary butterknife. Then again, the Moonblade is a dagger...

You cant USE a moonblade in SoA or ToB... but it would be easily created using IEEP
moonblade is a druid or cleric spell in the darkest day mod, it creates a temporary enchanted weapon

To get Xan go to the console and type: CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("Xan") Xan is in the game, he helps you in the tutorial |
I reckon they should have added more sayings for that Lilarcor sword. It is simply halirious!!!!!!
The Moonblade in SoA is required to create the Avatar of Rillifane.
The Moonblade in BG1 is only usable by Xan and its only a shortsword that does some extra fire damage I think... |
