It has been reported on sevral fronts that Bioware (anyway, I think it is them)was to unvale a new RPG along with Neverwinter Nights at the E3 convention. Anybody got news on this mysterious roll playing game? Thanks
|
i know they have a major project called Knights of the Old Republic, a starwars rpg
|
I tried to find the Bioware booth, but I couldn't. I found Interplay and Black Isle, but no Bioware. I think they only had meeting rooms and not a public booth.
Regardless, I haven't heard anything yet. [ 05-27-2002, 12:03 AM: Message edited by: MILAMBER ] |

Uh, oh, this is gonna kill a bunch of PS:T fans that have been feverishly speculating that "the Mystery game" was going to be a sequel. Not gonna happen, IMHO. The game was supposedly a financial disappointment.

They're releasing a game for the gameboy advance called "eye of the beholder". Not what you're talking about but still.

the art on the sceen shot reminds me a lot of PS:T, a bit prettier and not as colorful, but the same basic aritecture and design...
coincidence?...I think Not! :D |
looks likea ripoff to me...
I think it's cool that ATARI is slapping its name on NWN |

Yippee the eye of the Beholder games were some of my all time favourite games on the amiga, now i am going to have to save up for a Gameboy Advance lol |
Yeah here's the article- Infogrames today officially announced that they have secured the rights to create a game based on SSI's classic first-person roleplaying, Eye of the Beholder for the Game Boy Advance. Dubbed Dungeons & Dragons Eye of the Beholder, Infogrames' game will retell the classic story of its namesake and incorporate parts of the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Third Edition Ruleset. New features include 60 standard 30 magical items, over 70 arcane and divine spells, skills and feats, seven races (Human, Half-Elf, Half-Orc, Lightfoot Halfling, Shield Dwarf, Moon Elf and Rock Gnome), NPC party members, four classes (Fighter, Rogue, Cleric, Wizard), class advancement to the 7th level, first person exploration, top-down isometric combat (turn-based, in the style of Pool of Radiance), and new areas not found in the original game. Look for it this fall. D&D Eye of the Beholder is being developed by Pronto Games

It's public was limited to people who are really into RPG's and while We all loved that game a lot of other people didn't and besides the game didn;t sell a lot at start so it went down in price pretty soon |
Yeah, I enjoyed playing it, but the first time I picked it up, when it first came out, I was turned off by the description on the box, and I didn't play it until Galadria got into it, and I was so intrigued that I started a game of my own. Very unique, with great NPC's.
