Hi, a few weeks ago i bought BG2 SoA from a friend , i was so happy cuz i could play this great game for cheap! ( i dont have much money ) Sadly, the CD was kinda mistreated, cuz when i installed it a file was corrupted, AREA0500.bif, from CD2. I thought, who cares, BUT that file is the Bridge District, so i cant GET OUT OF CHAPTER 2!

If theres some1 out there willing to help me, please send me that file...or upload it, or mirc it...im desperate, any1 willing to help me i will be eternally thankful. sorry bout my english cuz im from south america.

Hey, welcome to the Ironworks! Don't worry about the English, it was quite understandable. Plus, we have people on the Ironworks from all over the globe, and we all seem to understand each other pretty well (so long as I don't start attempting German). Anyhow, I am currently trying to figure out how to send the file, but I have yet to have any luck (plus, I have a slow internet connection). If I'm succesful, I'll let you know, but no promises.

thanks for the quik reply! i myself now only a bit of sending files, but i think if some1 could upload it to a free web page, it could be less hassle...i know im asking too much from you guys but im kinda goin crazy not being able to play =)

Another Edit: Argh... nevermind again... I've been trying for about an hour to upload, but it won't work!!! Any suggestions?

is the file on the CD corrupt then? how about caking up your saved game files and re-installing it?

I think there are scratches on the CD itself, so I doubt reinstalling it will help him.
