I was reading Ann Landers today (don't ask...) and there was a letter from a concerned mother whose 15-year-old daughter was invited to a "nude slumber party" where they would all spend the night together naked. [img]graemlins/wow.gif[/img]
The mother was told that these parties are "all the rage now".
Hmm... When did this start happening? and most importantly:

Never heard of it. It sounds a bit........unusual to me.

I read it too (like Arnabus dont ask lol) and was thinking thats a pretty wierd slumber party, wish I was younger! I've actually never heard of such a thing other than those things called orgies. I know if I was ever in my life invited to an all male nude slumber party I'd definitly be finding new friends lol

Umm this sounds very unusual...would you let your child go to a nude slumber party....I take my kids to clothing optional beaches on occasion...and see nothing wrong with nudity per se......but....this just sounds..odd to me.

Yeah, it does sound a bit odd. I mean, I see nothing wrong with the human body and like Magik have been to clothes-optional beaches and even a nudist resort, but this seems a little strange to me. Things weren't like that when I was in high school

What they do not realize is that the owners of the home (the host mom, or whatever) will be selling that shit online to some porn website where it will be seen by all that have money to be members of that website.
I have heard of some terrible crap like people hiding cameras in their bathroom toilets and all that.

My advice would be to never trust a proposal like that. For all that daughter knows...her best friend is looking to make some extra cash.</font>

As everyone can see, I am the proud father of a 2 year old daughter.
My feelings are that I don't care how popular something is, popularity never made a wrong thing right. Letting my daughter go to a stranger's home (stranger to me, if not her), only to take off her clothing and frolic with the girls is ridiculous. What could it possibly achieve? What goal is being accomplished here? Maybe the hostess girl likes women instead of men! You never know!
There are just too many warning signals going off about that situation. Too unlikely that anything good would come of it, at least where my daughter would be concerned.</font>

It sounds a bit fishy to me...naked people all in one room..(boys?) and girls...I think I agree with Larry on this one that it must have somthing to do with the parants trying to rack up on some extra cash by spying on them and putting pics on the net.

Maybe the letter on invitation was like a permission slip that the mother had to sign to allow her child to go?

I doubt that the girl would have just told her mom, without the need to.

By the way, if I was at my friend's house, and a bunch of us guys were just sitting around, watching the super-bowl or whatever, and one guy says, "Hey! Lets take off all our clothes and then this party will be more fun!"...er...I think I would run like hell toward the nearest window and leap out!</font>

And Might i point out that it's quite commenplace and inexpensive to bathe in a public onsen in Japan but you NEVER see people sleeping over at eachothers houses with the same atire, or should i say lack of atire...
