60% of Canadians say that America is their friend.
48% of Americans say Britain is their friend. 15% of Americans say Canada is their friend. In retrospective, why would they like Britain more than Canada, (no offense Britains!) speaking back to the American Revolution. This what my social teacher says anyways! |
because american kicked british ass, and now one is the other's bitch. it is a reflection of american unresolved control issue
ok, that was a cynic statement, but it is a joke *dry laugh* |
The vast majority of Americans don't know even the most basic facts about Canada, except that some hockey players have come from there. Some of them couldn't even point to Canada on a globe...

Probably because the UK offers us more military help.

I was visiting the states one time with a friend and we got into a conversation with someone and mentioned we were from Canada. The guy looked at us blankly for a second and then said "oh, Canada... That's the place above us right?" My friend rolled his eyes and said "yes, in more ways than one..."

And no, quite frankly I no pretty much nothing about the Netherlands. Well beside they claim to be the most progressive country in the world. I dont have the facts with me so they may be. But I have never been proved to it was. And they are mostley Liberal. And for the record Litchenstien is in middle eroupe I belive. As someone pointed out already Alaska is our biggest state, not Texas. Albeit Alaska isnt in the continental US. Another fact I know about Canada is most of there immigrints are Irish or Scottish. They even have a town caleld New Glasglow in Nova Scotia. |

*sigh* There go those stupid people again, America may be a strong nation but its internal-population is mainly made up of dunderheads and screwups...
|
That's a strong remark, /)eath. You calling me stupid?
|
Lol
That satire wire story was amusing. People tend to think of Canadians as "quiet, nice people" and underestimate us. |
