On the back of terrific strikes by Ray Parlour and Fabulous Freddie Ljundberg - my cup runneth over :D .

Donut - I think I saw you - you were the one wearing red correct?. How were the fingernails ole buddy ;) .

We can expect our good friends Freddie and Terry to get thoroughly legless in the party tonight.

Are you watching Tottenham :D :D :D .

Memnoch 05-04-2002 12:11 PM

Oh no...Donut will be INSUFFERABLE now. :(

Epona 05-04-2002 12:15 PM

Hehe... the party outside is now in full swing... red and white flags and balloons everywhere... just heard the immortal fight-starting phrase 'Come on then, you c***s' being yelled at top volume... but other than that everyone is in good spirits, me included :D

Avatar 05-04-2002 12:18 PM

<font color=red size=4> YES YES YES!!!!! A goal on the 70th by our veteran Parlour, cracking strike and then 10min later by Flaming Freddie who put us 2-0 up. By then Chelsea was without Hasselbaink and althoygh they came clse many times in the game.. we ARE UNSTOPPABLE!!!! :D

Just remember, it will all be meaningless unless you beat Man U for the Premiership (I support the Reds and anyone who plays Man U). :D

Where is the Round Mound of Rotund anyway?

He was at the game - didn't you see him Memsie - he was the one in red :D . I imagine he will be back and posting in a day or two after the hangover wears off. Of course, if that takes a couple of days then it will be almost Wednesday, and then he will have good cause to be back on the piss all over again.

Backs away from Mr /)eathKiller - where are they - there should be guys in white coats coming - Davros looks in both directions but the corridor is still empty. What university sports are you talking about there - this is an FA Cup thread bro.

Football trivia:

Which is the only English league football club that doesn't have one of the letters of Mackerel in it's title?

Davros 05-05-2002 09:19 AM

Even against Liverpool I couldn't break the habit of a lifetime and barrack for em - I was hoping for a draw :D

Lavindathar 05-05-2002 04:40 PM

Did you know ? the last time Totten Hot Shite won the league ,the first pocket calculator was only 10 years from being invented.

Davros 05-05-2002 05:48 PM

Fantastic a sea of red and white, one of the best though was by Lee Dixon who was warming up behind the goal He knew Freddies shot was in the momment it left his boot

As for big bro , big dough he's still on his way back from shrewsbry but we sank a few before the game and sang ourselves hoarse cheering our boys on to glory.

I got back to London at 23:00 and drank and sang untill 4:00am I had to leave early as it's Sues birthday today (I know it's very selfish having a birthday the day after cup final day)

Even though it was a great day I still fell the job's only half done a win on wednesday will finish it.

Donuts been talking about the fat lady clearing her throat well it's not quite clear but i think she can throw the Strepsils away!!!

COME ON YOU GUNNERS!!!!

Epona 05-05-2002 07:09 PM

Celebrations here were great - the area I live in is mostly Arsenal supporters, but we have a few spurs traitors in our midst. It managed to stay friendly (although there were a lot of police making their way up Kingsland Road last night, sirens full blast, don't know what was going on) but here it was a street-party! Arsenal flags flying everywhere, a really great atmosphere, and actually no blood on the sidewalk this morning (for a change).

Hey Lanesra - I like the "Big Dough" nickname - mind if I borrow that :D . I wondered who that was behind the goals that was cheering Freddies goal - I thought it was a pitch invader or something. He is clearly shown in all the replays - having a great time.

Bring on the Manx Devils - it's Gunner time.

Here's FREDDIE. I'm back Memsie and I'm on a mission.

No fingernails left. I'll have to cultivate them for Wednesday night's showdown.

YAY! But to say one good thing about Chelsea, at least their supporters didn't resort to yobbish behaviour when they LOST
like those pathetic Millwall criminals did.

ARSENAL!ARSENAL!ARSENAL!ARSENAL!

Arsenal could well go on to win the double this season. However, the last time Arsenal won the double ( 1997/98 ), Man U won the treble the next season ( 1998/99 ).

geee...have I seen the future?
