Hehe, I have it on. YMCA man!

/)eathKiller 05-03-2002 08:47 PM

hmm For some funny reason i'vebeen watching the tube alot more than I normally do, and yet I didn't see this show on... O_o... go figure...

TV... it's been so long since i've watched you...

I see you've changed... in some bad ways... TBS got Freinds? O.o Ripleys is still showing reruns from when I actually DID watch TV? The SciFi Channel hasn't shown a single anime thing since they last showed "Fatal Fury" the motion picture! (and they cencored Mai's Bikini mind you) What the heck is wrong with you TV... why cant you be as unique and allow me to use my creativity like the wired?

hmm go figure...

*shoots TV with a Desert Eagle*

*Everyone looks at him shocked*

"Remote? what's that?"

*\Conan/* 05-03-2002 08:49 PM

Ha!! Finally someone with guts enough to post ;)

Gloria E... Blondie... Tina.. Lovin it..!

Ladyzekke 05-03-2002 08:56 PM

Yeah Conan, it's quite a trip down memory lane LOL, although I have to agree that Cher just, err... sucked (shhhh). Was lipping it too, she wasn't really singing live. Then again LOL, that is what American Bandstand is famous for, lip syncing, isn't it? Then again again, she couldn't even do that right, slipped up many times LOL, kinda funny!

Where the heck is KC!!! :D

*\Conan/* 05-03-2002 09:00 PM

Here's Mike...??
wait.. looks like Janet with nails..??

yeah the child molester just finished.i'm not going to watch it though.never watched it before,so why watch a retrospective?

Sazerac 05-03-2002 09:11 PM

LOL I think I'll wait until "Soul Train" has it's anniversary celebration. Dick Clark can't hold a candle to Don Cornelius and the Soul Train dancers. I watched Soul Train every Saturday Morning (it was on opposite AB) much to my mother's chagrin...I guess she thought I was going to turn into a funkmeister or something, LOL!!

skywalker 05-03-2002 09:12 PM

I ran from the show when they started the Disco clips!

LOL Saz! I watched those Soul Train shows ages ago, of course I had no choice, I lived in the country away from all civilization and only got five TV stations, so it was Soul Train or Tarzan mostly in black and white every Saturday at noon! This American Bandstand Anniversary show though isn't really showing dancing, mainly showing singers and bands who "debuted" there. Got "Great balls of fire" going now, yee haww! :D

BUt that's ok...I'd rather be here anyway. Sounds like everyone's enjoying it, at least!

It was the dancers on Soul Train that I loved the most. That's what shocked my mom so...nice little *cough*white*cough* deep south boys didn't make moves like that in the late 1960's and early 1970's. Glad that's changed now! :D (and yes, I still love funk!!!)

Ladyzekke 05-03-2002 09:25 PM

Haha! Well I was only about 12 or so when I watched Soul Train, most of my entertainment I got out of it was all the outfits and the wild ass dancing. Some of the moves were really hilarious and extravagant to say the least LOL!

Shame on you, no TV in your computer room? The Horror! :D I have a huge desk with my monitor and a small color TV side by side here LOL. I sit in a couch chair and have two four foot speakers on both sides, 55 Gallon fish tank and HP Laser Jet to the left :D Get with the program, sheesh  ;) :D

Oh, no kidding! I think I loved the "line dance" when they'd line up and dance through the line the best...also the outrageous outfits.

Oh, Wendy, I'm a helpless Luddite...I've got a computer and a phone in my room and that's it. :D Maybe when HDTV comes out, I'll get a combination computer/TV...concept!

Cheers,
-Saz

Ladyzekke 05-03-2002 10:09 PM

Just can't imagine LOL a blank room, just a computer and a phone.. *shudder* How lonely and drab!, yes you need to work on that, atmosphere is everything! Not just a TV, that is just a preference, but lights and pictures on the wall, plants, a fish tank really is also a visual beauty, if you take it seriously though (they ARE pets, not just decoration, and should be treated as such, some people don't get that). They are just calming to watch mostly Basically, what I'm sayin is..., you need to invest in an entertainment CENTRE. Yes that's right. No need to hire any expensive decorators, you can do this yourself! Uh huh yes I see your are interested now! Yep! Not kidding! You too can swim in the gift that is electricity, just a Heavy UP or two, new plugs, and feel the hair on your head stand out, it's party tahm. :D Sorry, in a silly mood this evening, Friday and all...

Sazerac 05-03-2002 10:15 PM

LOL silly lady, you should SEE what this room looks like! Paintings all over the walls, bookcases, books all over the place...heh, need to clean up here a bit as well, I see. :D

A fishtank is an idea, but I may move some ratties up here instead if I get any new ones. Well, this room is kind of done in early American frathouse, down to the cinderblocks and planks for the stereo set! My wife leaves it alone. ;)

Cheers,
-Saz

Ladyzekke 05-03-2002 10:30 PM

Trying to picture room, failure vs. confusion... :D Painting and bookcases, yet planks and cinderblocks as well LOL?! Well of course the sweeties of the rodent kind would be just as good as a fish tank, if not better! Bet there is an orphan sitting somewhere right now thinking "when is daddy gonna come and get me"
