Hey add New Zealand onto there:

New Zealand 0 0 0 0

*sigh* oh well, perhaps we'll win one at the summer olympics.

Must fight ...... nooooooo, can't resist ugh :

Zero Avalanche :D .

Davros 02-25-2002 04:04 AM

So we made the top 15 :D . OK, we didn't beat Austria (Boo, Hiss), but we did beat Scotland, I mean the UK ;) . Just think how much we could improve by Smiggins 2010 :D .

For a country that has snow about 10 days a year, we Dutchies didn't do bad. For a country that's one of the key players in long distance speed skating, it was merely a "normal" result. But they did a great job, though! Especially Uytdehaage and Smit were much better than expected.

And the second best country is ...............................(drums)............ .................... NORWAY!!!
YAY!
This is the most medals we've ever taken in the winter-olymipcs.
This has truly been a great OG! You know, Ole Einar Bjørndalen got historical cause he took four of four possible golds, and Ådne Søndrål got bronze even though he had a damage in his shoulder...
This was great...

see ya!

umm...second best in golds. US was second overall with 34 total medals. Sorry, to point this out...maybe that's what you meant .

Anyways, Congrats to all countries' athletes on their superb athletic performances!
It was a great Olympics, and I can't wait until they come back to the States again!

And the second best country is........
(drum roll please)
NORWAY!

Gold is all that really counts. ;)

Congrats to all the winners, all the runner-ups, all the 2nd runner-ups, all the losers ;) and everyone who got a rise out of watching!

I can't wait til Torino!!

Certainly is. ;)
I mean who is better. The team that gets 11 Gold, no silver or bronze, or the team that gets 13 bronze, no gold or silver.

I know who'd be partying harder. ;)

Interesting that some US papers print the rankings on total rather than Gold, whereas in Australia for example, they are rankings like the one I posted. Based on Golds, with silvers then bronzes breaking a tie.
