The other day I asked my wife if there was any Figure Skating events on TV (She loves it, but I don't really watch, I use the time she watches to feel less guilty about being on my computer, instead being with her). She said it's just Ice Dancing and frowned (she hates Ice Dancing).
Ice DANCING is an Olympic Event ?!?!? So I thought why not Olympic.... Square Dancing (Maybe a medal for calling, too!) Riverdancing (Was very popular, maybe still is?) ContraDance (Achey Breaky music...I think I will be sick!) Break Dancing (I guess it's too late for this.) And best of all (In a politically incorrect tone!) Olympic Lap Dancing ;) Mark PS I am not serious...no offense intended. |
Next thing they'll do is making Spearcatching an Olympic Event...

Yes I have to admit some of the newer events that are being added to the Olympics is ridiculous. Since they have dancing why not singing?? Eventually they will move on to lawn mowing and sewing.

I'm surprised there is not Olympic Ballet (not that I'D ever watch it! :D ).

Hairdressing is an Olympic event now? Mark (Just kidding! It's like shuffle board, right? That's it! Olympic Shuffleboard! ;) ) |

Great thread Mark! Olympic Lap Dancing too funny I'm all giggles! How about an Olympic Hoe-down?! Nothing like square-dancing, mind you...see George Clooney in "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" for more details on technique. ;) Oh and don't forget the Olympic Polka competition!!! Off-topic: Donut; I only now notice that you removed the sentence: "Save Chip - Don't let Sarah win!" from your sig.. I always wondered what you meant by that..

I'm not sure, I think each country should be able to use their creature of choice, I mean, I would be most at home with a good old armoured dwarf, but some like the swift aerodynamics of a goblin, or the smooth flight path of a halfling. |

Chip and Sarah were a couple, Chip wanted to go to football on saturday afternoons, Sarah wanted him to go shopping with her. A British sports programme started the 'Save Chip' campaign as a joke and the campaign took off. People would take 'Save Chip' posters and banners to televised football matches and get them on the TV. This spread to other sports events, then non-sports events. Eventually Save Chip posters were turning up at sports events all around the world. But they have dropped the campaign now. This was the last update |
