yes, because its a cat's reflex to get back to its feet before it hits the ground.

Perhaps the legs would twist around? Or maybe the two things are so mutually exclusive that they refuse to fall together and instead separate? Or don't fall at all?

No, the cat will stop falling two feet off the ground and then continuously revolve.

No, the cat will turn into a floating turtle, and 4 elephants will hold the bread which will turn into a world on their backs, and they'll rest on it's shell.

Perhaps it would spontaneously explode?

Now on to more serious matters, the cat would never hit the floor because it doesn't exist anymore, in it's place appears a cat/bread hybrid. Now that would land on it's feet though :D

Has anyone ever noticed that the butterd-bread-hitting-the-ground-facedown rule doesnt apply to toast? also has anone ever put tape onto a cats paws and then put it onto lino or tiles?
