They just lost 3-0 at home to a rampaging Chelsea. What a humiliation!!!

Davros 12-01-2001 09:16 AM

Watched it, loved it, in raptures. Amlmost up there with last week, but the clincher is that last week it was the mighty Gunners that handed out the 3 goal hiding :D .

Lifetime 12-01-2001 10:58 AM

Sigh.. Damn that Barthez..

Is there any hope for the Devils at all..? *moan of despair*

Davros 12-01-2001 11:07 AM

I didn't think Barthez was too much at fault this time - just simply as a team they were overpowered and outplayed. Oh, and the good news is that the Gooners are 1-0 up at Ipswich :D .

Yeah, but look who you're playing! Ipswich!

If you don't beat them by at least 5-0 the Gunners are a disgrace. I'm watching it now and I think you fluked those 2 goals. :D

Davros 12-01-2001 12:13 PM

Oh, and 3 cheers for your namesake :D - I thought Mr Ljungberg had a very good game.

Lanesra 12-01-2001 12:31 PM

Schmeichael was great cause he's Danish. Although, its a bad Man U habbit to have a goalkeeper to turns rubbish for half of the season but then gets good.

Dont count Man U out of the title race yet though, Newcastle were laeding by 16 points with only a few weeks to go and we one the title then.

Man U rule.

ROFLMAO! :D
Barb, this is the point. The point, this is Barb. I guess you missed each other just a minute ago. ;)
I guess I should have put the lame word joke in bold or something. :D It's just what I said it was, a lame word joke; a play on words, reading what you wrote in a different way then you originally intended it. Just read it again, explaining it takes away all the fun.

Erm... Except for the fact that they have fellow Dutchie Ruud van Nistelrooij, no, not really. I'm not really fan of any English club in particular, to be quite honest.

Willem II?? Whatever gave you that idea??? Nah, NAC Breda is more of my taste. NAC as in rivals to Willem II.

Bahamut 12-03-2001 08:33 AM

i'm an oldie here, where jari litmanen was still in Ajax and Edwin Van Der Sar... sh*t...

i'll go with the old line UEFA Champions League Line-up

I like rivals (before) Juventus and Ajax, with Peruzzi as their goalie (Juv) and Van der Sar (Ajax), no Babanguida yet ayt! De Boer bros were great, and so was their defender, sorry i am an Ajax fan who forgot them...

I also liked Man U, Borussia Dortmund for their old jersies (the thing with the C in it or whatever ), and Dynamo Kiev was just rising and all that... when Real Madrid kicked ass before Barcelona kicked their ass and then Real Backa again

oh did I mention I loved Ajax when Kluivert was there? :D

The five teams to beat them in the premiership are:

Bolton
Liverpool
Arsenal
Newcastle
Chelsea

Spooky ;)

Ezekial 12-03-2001 06:55 PM

Wouldn't put any money on Manu U to win the title this season, but would never write them off..and thats from a life-long Man U AND Leeds fan! (blame the parents!!!)

That is classic :D so I wonder if the next teams they will lose to will be :

Middlesbrough
Aston Villa
Newcastle (doing the double)
Grimsby (in the FA Cup perhaps)
Everton

How sweet ;)

Davros 12-05-2001 09:21 AM

Sigh, well I would explain it Barb, but...................., Oh well, your looking at it as two words - try to see a bigger picture - I was pushing for 10 losses this season for Man U - not just 5. BLANC might be a reason for 5 losses, but maybe they are just playing like BLANCMANGE's :D .

Barb 12-05-2001 01:29 PM

I get it now *There came a cry from off stage "exuse him, he's a bit slow*
