Could anybody inform me about MSN and AOL. And that numbers for chating. I open their web pages and see I have to pay them for their internet service. Since I already have internet I dont wish to pay anything (especially to Microsoft http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif).
Are these numbers/chatting/anything for subscribers only? For playing multiplayer games I see someone mentioned MSN - do they mean that subscription?

The MSN Messenger and AIM are free downloads and free for computer-to-computer chats (everywhere, as far as I know).

at www.MSN.com and www.AOL.com just look for the FREE d/l for each of the chat services. I don't THINK they charge anyone ANYWHERE for it, but things may be different where you are. (???)

Nothing to feel sorry for, Mr Sedai: I reinstalled AIM yesterday and then dug this thread up from page 10. Then I decided that others might be interested as well and that therefore a bump might be called for. As my principal motivation for searching this thread was to find Kazlein's AIM contact info I typed the above instead of "bump". So nothing awe-inspiring or profound, just silly me and my brand of twisted humour ... [img]smile.gif[/img]
