Um... no thank you. A forced 26 hours is my record (bus ride back from exchange to England) and I slept for eight hours as soon as I got home... I don't think so. However, I may change my mind or, even if not participating in The Challenge, try and stay awake for longer than usual just for the heck of it. BTW, how will you define "summer vacation?" It doesn't always overlap (ours ends July 28th or so, while another state's may only begin in August!) so if you get too many contestants...

hmm... good point Kaz. maybe we might do it on Christmas break? and remember, great amounts of caffeine are allowed!
but we'll probably check with people about when theirs begins... maybe we can begin in June?

Umm I hope you guys know that medically its not advised to go more than three (3) days without sleep, for a start you will suffer from hallucinations, your whole metabolism will be thrown out as your body needs to sleep to to pefrom vital functions, and your brain uses this time to properly assimalate information, going without sleep can cause all sorts of medical problems.

Not to mention being sat down for that long could give you a nasty case of deep vein thrombosis, guys your not only nuts but sadistic too.

We'll probably all be unconscious before the third day is over, the 4th day is merely the deadline where a "draw" is declared and any surviving contestants are allowed to go to sleep without losing their honour, of course, even if everyone else falls unconscious I'm going to try for four days, just for the fun of it.

Now, let's find a good reason for Elif....... I've got one: Because it's going to be damn fun staying up constantly and chatting with good friends.

I won't participate as a participant (save me from the redundancies!) but I could help as an advisor. Since I am on AIM when at home, I could be a chat monkey to help out. I'm not volunteering, mind you. Just letting you know that you can invite me if I'm online.

vacation time is a little limited presently.
