I believe that I got 30 or something on that test, I was pragmatic, but not hopelessly, I think I'll retake the test so I can tell you my score.

Epona 10-17-2001 11:26 AM

I got 59 - borderline romantic.

I am a romantic person, but my result was ruined by the first 2 questions about marriage, because I don't believe in it. (In the sense that if you truly are in love, a marriage certificate is not necessary - I view it as completely pointless and a waste of money).

Hmmm.... That gives me an idea for another line for my sig.

You are one pragmatic lover. You aren't enamored by rose petals, sweet perfumes, HallmarkTM cards, and special songs. This is perfectly fine, and doesn't mean that you can't experience love and relationships as deeply as your more "romantic" friends. However, you might have to oblige your partner with the odd flower or romantic touch. If s/he is more of a romantic than you, s/he might feel neglected. Making the effort to be romantic might inject some passion into your love life.

If you are truly uncomfortable with the slightest romantic act, you might consider finding a partner with whom you are compatible on this level. But this isn't a fundamental difference that should determine who you should get involved with. But if your lover is more of a romantic than you, you might consider the subtle ways in which you can express your love. You can use your imagination to act romantically without acting unnaturally. See the list below for romance tips that might be within your comfort zone (perhaps some of these things will inspire you to come up with your own passion igniters):

Show up at his/her workplace, meet your partner as s/he takes her/his break, and whisk her/him away for lunch or a walk.
Put a note on the bathroom mirror promising to share an afternoon delight.
When you are separated, call to tell him/her you were thinking about them.
Remember your dreams and tell her/him about them.
Ride your bike 8 miles just to see them for a few hours.
Dress and/or undress each other.
Kiss every part of your partner's body.
Hold hands.
Surprise your partner with plans for a fun day-trip together.
Go to a toy store and play like children.
Bring your partner a treat (something sweet?) when you go visit.
Get up early and make a beautiful breakfast for your partner

I scored a 35, which is surprising, because I was expecting it to be lower. I hate all that sappy mushy cr**, and I have a feeling my wife would be lower than I am on that score! We're both too pragmatic! (but it's a great match!)

Let me look that one up! Let's see now: Newt, none, nut, ah! Here we go:

Nutter: "Sköre rad" (Rad means: Fellow(As in a person, like: "That fellow is mad" or something like that.), so in fact, the translation of "sköre rad" would be "crazy fellow.".)

Not exactly nutters though, but the closest translation I could find would be:

"Skör"

I'm not sure where all I'll be visiting yet, but my main itenerary at the moment is Germany, England and Scotland. If you are near one of my 'stops', I really would enjoy meeting up for lunch or something. My best friend and I are going to visit with several of her extended-family members in these countries. I may also be visiting France and Italy and even possibly Spain (I'm hoping to be there a month). If I can swing it, I'm also considering heading up to Dutch-town, too. See if I can track down some of my family there. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif I also hope to meet up with several IW ppls during this trip.
