You know what would be cool? If I could meet a girl who lived close by, and liked Final Fantasy, Tekken, D2 and BG as much as I do. A girl with those interests would have to be my soulmate. We'd be made for each other.http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif There are so many female gamers here, and that makes me take back my theory that all gamers are males. I have one complaint however. How come absolutely none of them live here on this island? It's not fair!http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...les/crying.gif Why can't there be more girls like you people? How come IW (And battle.net) are the only places blessed with gaming goddesses? WHY?

I'm with you there brother. I have the same problem but in Southern California. There are millions of people here, but do you have any idea how hard it is to find one with the same interests? I'm sure there's one out there, but I haven't found her yet.

Same here. Sucks.

Redblue, I'm afraid you may have to go somewhere a bit more populated for your wish to come true. My friend graduated from GitMo and said her graduating class topped out at 7. With numbers like that you really can't get too much diversity.

Trux who was this friend? I probably knew them. Oh and yes our graduating class is at 12 this year. I can always hope can't I?

Her name's April. She graduated in '98. If you don't remember her check a yearbook - can't miss her. I think she was one of only two or three girls in her class.

That´s the problem. They never live where they should. I tried to force my girlfriend to like RPGs, but she refuses to sit in front of the screen more than half an hour. It´s kinda hard.http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif

Yeah I remember April. She got most of the scholarships at graduation. Didn't know her that well though. There are a lot of new people here, (A lot of my old friends left.) and 20 families are supposed to be coming. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif I hope one of them includes a girl my age! Sounds like April. Studious one, that girl. She's doing well now in a small liberal arts school in Florida.

You should kind of be glad that you don't have one! Rex and I never see each other when we both have games going unless we look into the next room. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif

That's a good point. I guess I never thought about that. Still all the games I named are multiplayer!http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif Besides i'm sure we would have other interests as well. Hopefully.

Ahhhh multiplayer that would make a difference!
Well, I am sure you will meet up with the girl of your dreams and when she is that loved, it won't matter if she plays or not.

Well, I guess you're right. If she was the girl of my dreams it *wouldn't* matter if she played or not. Probably wouldn't have much time for videogames with her around anyway. (As horrifying as that soundsI could get used to it.) Still it would be nice though...

It would be nice, but I'd settle for some sort of butler...he/she could bring me sandwiches, light my cigarette, refresh my drink, etc., etc. while I play BG so I wouldn't ever have to take my eyes from the screen.

Oh come on Trux. We don't want the I'll do anything you want to do ladies. We want girls who will actually sit and play the game with us, and are actually as good at it as we are. The housewives are far more common, and far more boring.

Of course, I didn't mean a butler who's my girlfriend, or something. Just a regular butler - guy or girl, who I'd pay a modest stipend to cater my every whimsey while playing video games and stuff.

That can actually be an advantageous situation to be in! http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif
With my employment here, Rex gets more time than ever to play his games. I make him light his own smokes LOL but he does have that advantage of being catered to whereas before I got here, he'd have to get up off his butt and do it himself. Hey as long as I'm up and doing things and he is along my path, I have no problem making sandwiches and refreshing drinks. Don't even think I'll do it when I am into my own games though, esp since his PC is set up closer to the kitchen than mine! Then it is me calling for snacks and sodas LOL

Trux, April wouldn't happen to be going to Ringling would she? I graduatated from Ringling back right after we killed the dinosaurs by eating their eggs.

Oh no this sounds too familiar I introduced my (sort-of) ex-gf to Risk, and then panicked like hell for I had facilitated Genghis Khan's second coming (although Genghis didn't have the legs http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif)
