Ich bin zwar nicht Deutsch, aber ich habe Familie in Siegen...mein Vater ist ursprunglich Deutsch aber er wohnt seit dreizig Jahre in Holland. Mein geschriebenes Deutsch ist ziemlich schlecht, aber ich spreche und verstehe es schon.

Doch ich glaube, hier sind wirklich so wenige Deutsche: ich bin hier "Stammgast" seit letztem Dezember, aber bin bis jetzt der einzige Deutsche in dieser Kategorie geblieben. Allerdings haben wir auch nur eine Französin und einen Spanier hier unter den regelmäßigen Nutzern. Ich glaube das liegt einfach daran, daß einmal diese Länder bevölkerungsreich genug für eigene thematisch spezialisierte Foren wie dieses sind und andererseits es, im Gegensatz zu Skandinavien und den Niederlanden, keine Alltagskultur des ungezwungenen Umgangs mit dem Englischen gibt. Oder in anderen Worten: die allermeisten jungen Deutschen - und Spanier, Italiener und Franzosen sowieso - werden, wenn sie die Wahl haben, immer noch das muttersprachliche Angebot vorziehen. Einer der Gründe dafür dürfte auch sein, daß es bei uns (fast) nur synchronisiertes Fernsehen und Kino gibt.

Hi Ramon, yep my moms now in Germany, she originally wanted to go to southern Germany but apparently couldnt find a postion, shes now outside of Berlin (not sure WHERE lol)where she is teaching english.

Debiler - na ja, wie gesagt, ich bin hier "Stammgast", d.h. seit März, als dieses neue Board kam, poste ich hier mehrmals am Tag, da komme solche Zahlen schnell zusammen. Ramon: Naja, du hast dich doch sicher auch schon gefragt, woher dieses *rrroarr* Bild in Mel´s Sig stammt. In dem Beitrag ist ein Link zur Amy Brown Fantasy Art Homepage. Da gibts noch mehr solche netten Pics...Ich könnte mir auch überlegen, hier Stammgast zu werden. Ich bin zwar schon seit März oder so registriert, aber ich hab dann immer mehrwöchige Aussetzer, in denen ich gar nicht poste. Die Dichte im Shadows of Amn-Forum hat seit dem Erscheinen von ToB auch mordsmäßig abgenommen, die ganzen Leute mit den witzigen Ideen posten nur noch im Tob-Forum. It´s not really important, but it´s fun. Melusine was glad of having the opportunity to talk german with someone in the IW Forum. And Ramon thought he was the only german around here. Ertai, I see your point, but I don't see much harm in an occasional post in German, as I think many people of other nationalities occasionally enjoy trying to speak German as well (Cloudy, Reeka etc)
