I took over the house of the pirate lord, Desharik, on Brynnlaw. The area code is AR1601. Its my favorite because its away from the city on an island. Thats exotic. Only problem is, I'm not allow to rest there. The island isn't bad too since it has an inn, a merchant, and nice neighbors once you clear out the bad pirates. Does any know how to edit the house (AR1601) so that I could rest in it? I have Shadowkeeper or do I need another editor.

So, what is your favorite house to claim as your own? Or area. Please include the area code if you can. You can press CTRL+X on the main game screen and it should tell you on the far right what area code you are in.

I think the area is either AR0907 or AR0907. Do an "X" b4 you move so you can get back and try'em.
"X" gives your location.

I tend to take over the ground floor of Mae'Var's place, whether I'm a Thief or not. I like places with lots of storage, so I can keep all my spare potions, scrolls, quest items, etc, separate.

i just use the Keep. it has heaps of storage and you can sleep there...okay it actually gets even to you.......

Definitely the Jansen residence. Two story (w/ basement), kitchen, spacious bedroom, lovely view of the Athkatla slums, turnip garden in the basement. And what's best, it's full of Jan's crazy relatives!

my fave is Rayic Gethras' house in the docks. you can rest there, even when he's alive and well upstairs. don't have to go to that nasty Sea's Bounty with Cap'n Hook (i mean thumb). Ikert is right outside for all your loot. Unfortunately, it's kinda far from any exits. oh well. at least you can rest.

My favorite thing to do.
In my thief game, I got my stronghold. One complex there. THen I use Rayric Gethras house, since i killed him and his house is nice. Then the Harper Hold is my keep, and I killed all the Harpers. Then I cleared out the Crazy person place in which you have to do as a Harper Quest. Then I use that house with the Child your supposed to protect for the Paladin Quest. So this is my party and there homes
Thief Stronghold-Korgan's room, Rats's(my thief) office/house.
Rayric Gethras House-Edwins house
Child Quest house- Viciona's Quarters
Crazy guy house- Edwin and Jan's labratory
Harper Hold-Jan's house/business keep.
You can also rename things so now the whole docks district belongs to me, hahahah.
I also didn't like the thief stronghold quests. One ambush fight and thats it? WHat a waste, though the income is nice...

If I'm playing a mage/sorceror I always live and store stuff in the planar sphere. Otherwise I usualy use the slave 'ship' thing in the slums district. Lots of storage, Handy Location. It doesn't look as nice as the guarded compound in the temple district but is in a much better location.

RENAMING areas has been mentioned in this topic. How can this be done? Please, do tell. Can it be done in-game or do I need an editor?

Heh all of u got pretty good locations i must say.

Altough the Planar Sphere is the given place if u r a Mage/Sorc Player. Otherwise clearing out the entire Shadow Thief Building and using it is alot of fun !

i almost always play a paladin
so i take the guarded compound and rename it
but im going to start a new game as a fighter
to get the keep and then duel latter
