Yes! http://cwm.ragesofsanity.com/otn/realhappy/luxhello.gif Wonderfully animated! Well scripted! Characterizations and acting not to be beat! A good family film.. and a good adult film.

It's a keeper. http://cwm.ragesofsanity.com/otn/rea...iggthumpup.gif

Sure hope lots of people go to see it. I'd love to see them make more movies.

Excuse my ignorance, but could someone tell me exactly what shrek is like?
I haven't even heard of it (though I suppose I do come from Australia).

It is a new animated movie that just hit the theaters today. Eddie Murphy, Michael Meyers, Cameron Diaz (sp?) My 8 year old granddaughter went to see it with some family tonight and said when she came home "It was a really great movie, Mammaw, but some parts made me cry." I told her that really great movies usually do make us feel a lot of emotions, like laughing and crying too. http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif Can't wait to see it myself! http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/xyxwave.gif

I think I am going to see it nest weekend. I talked to Father Bronze this morning he saw it today with his son and said it was great. He loved the 80s music in it he said.

Father Bronze 05-19-2001 09:49 PM

Yep. The music was cool. It seemed that just when the scene couldn't get any funnier, some tune from the 80's/90's would pop in with just the right lyrics to send me laughing even harder.

It is quite well done. Funny, makes fun of other similar tales, made me laugh, and yes, Ziroc, the gingerbread man scene rocked. http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

saw it today, an excellent movie! Very well written, there was more than enough material there for a movie twice as long. Amanda and I give it two thumbs up. Gingerbread man and the mirror were great, wish they had done more with the dragon.
