Can you download the extra merchants bit somewhere, so that you can get the robe of vecna without owning the collectors edition?

I haven't seen that lately. I purchased the Collectors Edition way back and that merchant was part of the package. I do know that if you buy "Throne of Baal", it is also added there.
Oh and if you have shadowkeeper, you can access it from the item browser. .

That should take you where you want to go. Although sometimes the site is down, don't ask me why. The game is definately alot more interesting with the bonus merchants added in.

Where can I find the robe of Veccna if u have Throne of Bhaal installed? Can u buy it at a merchants somewhere or do youpick it up in some Dungeon or other?

Humm... I have throne of bhal installed, and it did not add the bonus merchant. Are you sure about that?

Hmmm, Luvian, the add on says that she is added in the adventurers mart. She is on the upper level where the lady sells scrolls. But now you have me wondering as I cannot really prove it is true, since I already had her with the collector's edition.

I had the extension installed for a long time, and never saw the 2 bonus merchants. I downloaded the Bonus Merchants from the internet, and now I have them.

I am pretty sure that if I had them before I would have seen them.

I believe you and definately take your word for it. I do know that only Deidra or whatever her name is that is in the adventurers mart comes on the Collectors Addition which I have. The extra vendor that shows up in the Copper Coronet was originally only available if you pre-ordered BG2 prior to release. Then after that, some people put them both together in d/l format on a few sites. I haven't seen them for a while, and don't have the merchant in the Copper Coronet any longer.
I don't know how you feel about shadowkeeper, but if you can't find the downloads for these merchants and you really would like to try out these items, the 'item browser' allows you to place these items into a saved game inventory. I have found that I have needed Shadowkeeper on a couple of occasions where a necessary quest item would not appear when and where it was supposed to.

Ok I couldn't get the link to work but I've used Shadow keeper, the Robe of Vecna absolutely rocks!.
By the way the bonus merchants are not a part of ToB, as I have that installed, but only the collectors edition.
Got to try out the shield of Balduran next, beholders here I come.

the weapons of ToB are a bit to mutch they are way beter then the ones in SoA .

The robe of vecna is sold for 40000 gold and the shield for 20000. If you where trying to make a legit game you just unbalanced it a lot.
