what going on!!!!???

i bought the game today and think its awesome! but after the prolouge, and are about to enter chapter 1 i got an memory error !!

i tried many times but still got the same message and i tried cleaning mu computer and stuff but can someone please help me if u can and tell me whats wrong?? why i get that error when i enter chapter1??

It is a MAJOR bug in G3. Many people are experiencing serious memory leakage. There also seems to be a serious bug crash as the game trys to load chapter 4.

hmm i tried fixing it by repairing sp1, and repairing installshield engine but m&m still crashes..
i have also tried multiplayer an it crash when i get killed or gain a level.. hmmf quite irritating..

I'm at chapter 6? and I haven't encountered a single bug, but my brother get a random crash every 30-40 minutes. He say it'S very frustrating since the game take so long to start and load.

i just had to try, i installed the demo and it chrashed when it begun loading the next chapter(after the prolouge,,) so its obviously something wrong with my computer...

so now i dont have a clue what to do,,

think i should format my hard drive?

maybe theres to much reinstalling and other crap on my computer that messe up the system,, and i bought my pc in 03 , and havent format my HD yet.... hehe think its about time?

SOLUTION - By lowering all my video settings to the lowest possible I was able to complete the loading of Chapter 1. After Chapter 1 loaded i then put my video settings back to where they were before.

Apparently the whole thing is related to graphics card, so if the above solution doesn't work try updating your video card drivers.

I got two crash in total trough the game. One when I used the last fire spell while infravision was on and I was over a pool of water, the I forgot but it seemed reasonable too.

heh i i have done it=) i lowered the graphics an the rresolution to see if i got trough th chapter one and it did=) hurray=)

so it wont crsh if i turn the settings back to highest when im loading anew chaptr?

Well I just finished the game and while I don't think it is over the top great, it made for some nice action. One thing I really hated was the fact that there were so many spiders. Makes a guy with light-arachnophobia kinda nautious playing this game :S

I had one crash with this game. It was when using a scroll and the reflection in the water seemed to make the game crash and go into a sound loop.

I hope they will continue to patch this game and make the inventory function alot better. As it is now it is very limited and not very handy in a fight and mot spells are very tricky and some are bugy.

Bought the game last week and have been playing it on and off. Will say that I hate the tons of insta-death one path is right senarios, and the rush action segments that force you to just keep going at a break neck speed. The inventory system is very basic for an RPG (action "RPG") with 4 slots for equiping items and a fairly small skill tree to boot.

If you like pure action games with a fantasy theme then this is a great game for sure, however I was expecting (hoping) alot more from it, as its using an RPG game world that's been around for over 20+ years.

Not going to say the game sucks as I am still playing it however I really hope there is still life in the old RPG game model where game party complexity and choice is not all together lost with a good selection of monsters and exotic items.

I am Playing NW2 as well and find it to be a very clunky interface to say the least. At least for both games so far I am not encountering any game breaking bugs or massive video stuttering like so many others have.
