Recently got an X-BOX for christmas, and was wondering what games are "must have" so to speak. Anyone want to let me know what games I couldn't possible live without, once I get them?

Currently spending copious amounts of time on Halo, and loving it.

Throw ideas at me, people! (please)

Fable [img]graemlins/finger.gif[/img] only problem with it, is that it is a tad short, but I have replayed the game differently twice now [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Moto GP2- I have only played the demo, but if you like motorbikes, then you will probably like this.

I got one too. I Got gift cards and bought:

Arx Fatalis (used ($15)
Morrowind (used) $15
Fable
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within (FREAKING AWESOME) -- I loved the first one too.

Those are awesome games. Arx and Morrowind will take over 100 hours alone to beat, so those are worth it big time.

Fable is fun, lightharded and has a great atmosphere.

Hey dave, head over to your local EB(electonics botique(sp?)) and you can get 2nd hand games dirt cheap, especially if you trade something in....like top spin [img]tongue.gif[/img] :D

Dead or Alive : Beach Volleyball. You'll thank me for that. :D

Couldn't have said it better myself. Soon, I'll be on Xbox Live just KILLIN' people on Halo2.

Oh no the Price of Persia is terrible Z man haha anyway the Baldursgate is even worse have no idea who can be good i play only on Pc this days! And Heroes Of Might And Magic III is the best one right now an oldie but pretty good no bugs there! :D

Steel battalions, Line of contact, though it's live only so you might want to think about just steel battalions which is one of the best games you can get for the xbox, though you'll run screaming at the price tag I'm affraid.. It's still a great game..

Giant steel Robots, kinda like Mechwarrior (I think) only ALOT mor advanced, it costs about $400 AUS (I think) mainly bacuase it comes with its own controller which is literally like a compact Plance cockpit [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Gotham City racing is a good racing game if you are into it.

Tony Hawk Undergound is great as well. Also ask and you shall receive.

LOL! Yeah, by accident, I clicked near a female, and it clicked on a man, and he then had a heart over his head. I was like WHAT THE HELL??? :D Then I did a sneer at him, and an evil laugh to scare him away hehehe.. I've hooked up with like 10 chic's so far. Own a home, and display all my rewards. It's cool!

I totally love the autumn leaves and forest, it's like a fantasy land. great art and atmosphere.

Oh yeah, on XBOX, X-Men Legends is cool--it's in 740p (High Def TV signal) and looks so crisp. WOW! It uses the Balders Gate DA Engine I believe, and I like it.

Coming out on the PS2 in Feb is the sequel to Champions of Norrath (uses the Baldurs Gate DA Engine too--just hugely updated) and should be amazing too--has TONS more multiplayer options too--voice over IP so you can chat while playing.

Prince of Persia is AMAZING! This second one's lighting and puzzles are freaking jaw dropping! I am in love with this game. 10 stars. And BG:DA is also awesome. Yeah, it's not deep RPG, more action, but it's really fun, when ye just want to sit down, and bash some baddies.

Halo or Halo 2 I suggest the first one first.

Having either of the games is the Xbox law! You are not considered a true Xbox gamer until you have played either of these!

Whats with the constant bashing on top spin? I LOVED topspin. KOTOR 1 and 2 are musts for RPG fans. If your into sports type games... ESPN nfl 2k5 is awsome along with NFL street 2((i didnt think it would be good...its adictive))

Ninja Gaiden is my favorite console game ever! It's THAT good! I must warn you, it is HARD... very hard. But when you complete it you feel totally satisfied. I have played through the game like 6 times on different difficulties, and if you have xbox live you can download 2 free add-ons. One is a revamped version of the game with brand-new very hard monsters as well as a sweet new weapon; and the second download is sort of like a boss survival mode (only super hard).

I could seriously gush about how great this game is. I am such a fanboy of it.

You'll love it... as long as you don't lose your temper easily and have quick reflexes.
