|

Never heard of it.
|
I thought it's suppose to be a platform game?
|
I wouldn't know. Why is it called Super Mario RPG then? And is Mallow a male or female?
|
It was a Super Nintendo game, and a very good one.
Talking about piracy is illegal here, please don't talk about ROMs. |
IIRC, they're legal if you own the game.
Yup, that game is cool! I found it quite difficult at lower levels, but once you get the chance to train up, it's quite simple. I was surprised at the 3D-ish graphics; quite good for the SNES. 2 hours? That deserves a ! |
I loved taht game it was lots of fun
|
Yeah that game absolutely rocked. I loved it so much.
|
Love that game, I have inished it in a day, but not in under 2 hours, I cant even think of how that is possible...
Although I finished it after completeing everything in the game. |
my question is, though, if the game is so good why use the angry icon for the post?

they are only legal: if you are allowed one backup of software in your contry, allowing you to circumvent copy protection. (like over here until recently) then you dump the rom yourself in other words, i highly doubt you have any legal roms! |

Well, I played the game. I beat it 4 times, and plowed through it like a bulldozer.
I loved it to hell. One of my earliest RPG's, and one of the funnerest games ever. Among Roleplay types I stack it right next to FF4 and Deus Ex. |
I've got the snes version, and I still can't beat it. I got to the last boss, beat his first form, and I'm fairly sure I killed his body or his head once, but it regenerated after a few turns. And how do I get the Lazy Shell? I rented the game before I bought it (LONG time ago) and that's what mario used on one file. Or any advice just on the last boss? Or the secret locked door in Monstro Town? (I know how to open it, just not how to beat the -~SPOILER possibly~- boss guy inside and the four crystals)
Mallow's a guy. In the sky land, the citizens call him the prince. That reminds me of another question: Is the bird in Booster Tower the missing one in the sky land? If so, how do I get it out? |
There are two lazy shells. One is an armor, the other a weapon. Both boast being the best of their types, while sacrificing the abilities of the other (the weapon reducing defensive power significantly, the armor reducing attacking power significantly) but together, they give Mario near-invincibility (a few attacks, like the tank-headed Smithy's Golden Shell of doom, which blows you apart from yourself can still kill you) against pretty much anything.
To get them you need a seed and fertilizer, and you take them to Rose town, bearing Northeast therein, until you find the subsection with only one house. Inside is the gardener, and he uses them to plant a vine in a massive plant. The vine can then be climbed up to a place up in the clouds where you obtain both. Be sure to obtain both, I'm not sure (it's been a while since I've played) but if you don't get them both in the single trip up there, you'll never be able to go back up again (I think the vine goes away) and you'll lose your chance at either the best armor or best weapon in the game. For fighting Smithy, I suggest you use Princess Toadstool, a through-the-roofed Mario, and either Geno or Mallow, depending on your tastes. Geno is a better attacker physically, so you can always get the best of his talents, but Mallow has better spells, so if you keep up with the FP, he's invaluable. However, those same FP need to be reserved for Toadstool's (incredibly powerful) healing spells. If you have a full 99, and store 9 Royal Syrups, you'll have a total of 990 FP on hand... You'll need both Lazy shells (ideally both on Mario) to last against Culex (the guy in Monstro) and beat him. One character will essentially be able to stand up to his attacks indefinitely with those weapons, while dishing out some incredible firepower. EDIT: Some spelling fixes Also, I've never needed more than 300 FP to kill anything, even if I was going magic-heavy, so you might want to save those slots (say, six of them) for more fireworks, as that will improve the ending of the game.
