If you use pc version. press ~ to bring out console box. type tcl and press enter. After you move to your desired location. press ~ again and retype tcl and press enter. Close the console box.
OR Use divine intervention or Almsivi's Intervention scrolls/spells. OR Wait for them to get out of the way. |
OR
You could always show some restraint and 'moral value' by purchasing the armour at a later date when your character can afford it. By the time I decided to take my character to Ghostgate, I was already level 25 or so and the cost was nothing, really. However, the game doesn't really punish thievery that hard so stealing it should be relatively easy. |
There's also that set of glass armour in the fighters guild in Ald-Ruhn. Might be a touch easier to steal

see section 2 of the FAQ for a complete list of where everything glass can be found (Armor & Weapons)look at Q-2.19 for the huge list.

|
to who ever said to buy the armor i am offerned to think that i have moral value. i will steal everthing on that game.
|
Everything is in the same place for both PC and X-Box. I have both and the only differences are you can't patch the game and you can't use the editor.
But you can steal everything if that's your thing. |
I know but some of the things that they were telling me needed accses to the console which you cant do on xbox
|
You could always kill the people that is blocking you. Provided their aren't the doomsday message bringer. Just taunt them until they attack you first so that when you kill them it's not a crime.

Well if you're willing to steal everything, I hope you're also willing to pay for any potential consequences it has.
Ordination has its ways of coming around to those who merely take and don't give back, y'know? ;) |
Quin, try this. Get an intervention scroll (doesn't matter too much which one) steal everything you need as fast as you can, and teleport your way out of there. Then get to the thieves guild fast to clear your name. Or, build up your sneak skill so that they don't notice you.

Slight spoiler!
* * * * * I found a very useful amulet that casts Chameleon 80% for 60 seconds on a bandit on the road between Gnisis and Ald Velothi. There's a woman there that ask you to fetch a ring of hers that have fallen into a pond, and when you pick it up she and a companion in crime of hers will attack you. It's the companion that carried the amulet. I might be a random item, though. Just use the amulet, go into sneak mode and even someone with just a moderate Sneak skill is guaranteed success in the art of petty larceny. |
The amulet of shadows is not a random item. You'll always find it in the spot you've described.
|
Quin, there are some NPCs in Molag Mar who wear glass armor. You can always taunt them into attacking.
Spoiler - - - - - - - - You will also get some as a reward in House Hlaalu. Otherwise it all depends on how you want to play the game: buy, steal, taunt, or murder. |
SPOILER!
* * * * * There's also a glass cuirass, boots and grieves on a dead guy at the Falasmaryon stronghold. |
