promethius9594 06-26-2004 02:28 PM

where did you buy a pet scrib...? how come everyone has these cool pets, and all i can do is sneak around without anyone ever able to see me?

Oruboris 06-26-2004 11:45 PM

I miss my little packrat, wish he didn't have to stay in Mornhold...

Oru

Stratos 06-27-2004 03:14 PM

You buy it from a merchant in the Bazaar in Mournhold, right?

Black Baron 06-27-2004 04:04 PM

So it seems that they are usefull after all apart from skill train.

How did you manage to locate a morag tong assassin and engage a fight?? I need some daedric stuff for enchanting...

promethius9594 06-27-2004 04:15 PM

black... he didnt, it was probably one of the annoying ones who wake you up whenever you try to sleep.

DalekBoy 06-29-2004 03:14 AM

you can fight one in Mournhold; go to the theatre and talk to the guy out back. learn your lines and go through the door. after a few lines an assassin will attack. he has a deadric wakasashi

Then it isn't Morag Tong, the ones who sneak up on you while you sleep are the Dark Brotherhood, some candy ass gang from Mournhold. :D

not correct, this is not a morag tong, it is another of the dark brotherhood.

DalekBoy 07-03-2004 12:08 AM

its a ******* morag tong! even talk to the guy who hired you as a backup actor! he says and i paraphrase "our lead had "fondled" a telvanni. they caught him. i guess the services of the morag tong are expensive" (i missed bits out because they werent important).

and also: dark brotherhood wear dark brotherhood unifom, not dark pants and long-sleeved shirt! and dark brotherhood wouldnt have the mind capacity to get a deadric wakasashi...... and he doesnt attack while your asleep. you are in the middle of the play.

(SPOILERS) if you complete the quests in mournhold, you will come to learn that the king hired the dark brotherhood to assasinate you, the writs match quite nicely with the ones you find when you destroy the dark brotherhood fortress. maybe, however, its different if you are already a member of the morag tong prior to going to mournhold

its not a main quest its a side one. sorry promethius, but you have got the wrong idea. im not talking about the quest "dark brotherhood attacks".

General Nosaj 07-10-2004 10:27 AM

You can buy those critters?

promethius9594 07-10-2004 01:35 PM

The attack by the morag tong has absolutely nothing to do with the dark brotherhood quest. It is a totally unrelated quest that takes place in mournhold.

i must admit, i love my little scrib too. worst thing about having scribs or packrats is that those darned townies look at 'em like they're food!!!

dunno how many of them i've had to fend off from lil packy and hoppy!

V***V

Kakero 07-11-2004 06:16 AM

I didn't like my little scrib, it got stuck in the ladder few minutes after I bought it.

DalekBoy 07-19-2004 05:37 AM

curse my computer.

Seraph, you said what i did, but with more words.

Nosaj, if you want an exact location, you can buy them from a guy near the statue/fountain (i forget withch) in the great bazaar. In the area where that weak magi attacks you
