New Poll: NO MODS.~That's a period. Plain old Morrowind, no mods, or add-ons.
Class description:
Armor:
Favorite armor:
Class;
Heavy;
Medium;
Light;

Custom class, Agility is my watch word, Magic is my force, Light Armour is
my Protection.
Complete set of Glass. All pieces are AC86 except the tower shield which is 96.
For know favorite is Glass.
Heavy = 57 currently.
Med: 12
Light = 59 currently.
I like the weight to AC ratio, plus the amount of GP you get for bartering. Decent amount of enchant level.

Custom Class : Sniper ( sneak , stealth and markmanship is my game )
Armor : Heavy Armor ( High Defense is very good )
Favourite Armor : Daedric Armor ( it got hughest defense )
Heavy : 340++ AC

Yeah I know heavy armor doesn't suits a sniper class, but I love having high defense.

moiraine sedai 03-22-2004 01:33 AM

Go the full glass! Especially when enchanted, it looks great!

Custom Class: Aes Sedai (basically all mage-ish skills, excluding light armour,blunt weapon,speechcraft and mercantile)

Err... light armor => glass

I think my ac is ~80... Not sure. But my Moiraine wears a robe ontop of her armor... for the extra enchantment and so she looks more like an Aes Sedai (an exquisite blue robe, of course!)

promethius9594 04-15-2004 03:45 AM

Screw all glass armor, use a combination.

Helm- Glass (enchanted with + 1-5 strength)

Pauldrons- Glass

Greaves- Glass

Belt - Exquisite (enchanted with shield, 1-7 points)

Breastplate- dont remember the name, but you find it in one of the chests in the tower with the corprusarium... its the best breast plate so far in the game (Armor Class 126) and its enchanted with some heavy resist magicka spells.

Right Gauntlet- Wraithguard (not as good as the paired glove with the left guantlet below, which adds twenty to strength, but needed for sunder and keening, which are too good to pass up).

Left Gauntlet- one of the two i found in the quest where you get cursed and infected with corprus disease. I forget what its called, but it adds 20 to your agility.

Pants- Exquisite pants (enchanted with chameleon 1-20%)

Shirt- Exquisite Shirt (enchanted with water breathing and night eye for 1-7 points)

Amulet- Exquisite Amulet (enchanted with restore health 1-8 points per second)

Ring 1- Exquisite ring (enchanted with fortify strenght 1-47 points)

Ring 2- azura's ring (which i remove to place on a custom exquisite ring enchanted with levitate for 1-10 points)

all the enchantments above are using constant effect ability from golden saints trapped in azura's star. They rock!!!

Glass, then super-daedric (I mean specials with AC higher than daedric).
Get your full set of glass ASAP. Then add:
- Oreyn Bearclaw's Helm
- Dragonbane Cuirass
- (right) Fist of Randagulf - will be replaced by Wraithguard later
- (left) Fist of Randagulf
- Daedric Boots
- Daedric Greaves
- user enchanted ring of STR
- Necromancer's Amulet
- Ring of Marara
Together, with good Light and Heavy Armor skills, AC above 200.

How come? You look like me in the advanced stage of the game :D

promethius9594 04-15-2004 08:29 AM

i should have mentioned that I'm a kahjiit, and cant wear the bearclaw helm or the daedric boots. Daedric boots arent the best anyway (Highest AC isnt necessarily better than the big benifits some other boots tack on.) also, daedric greaves are nearly impossible to find without a mod (since I'm a Hlaalu).

Question though, whats the necromancer amulet? why not just have a constant effect healing amulet like i made? is there an advantage? and whats the ring of marara (where do i find that?)

Kakero 04-15-2004 08:45 AM

Necromancer amulet.

Constant Effect
Resist Normal Weapons 25% on self
Fortify Intelligence 25 pts on self
Restore Health 1 pt on self
Spell Absorption 25 pts on self

A very good amulet with good mods. I always use it.

Ring of marara - You can find it in Cavern of Shallit on a small island southwest of Ald Daedroth.

Radek 04-15-2004 12:55 PM

1. Sure Daedric Greaves: Druscashti (a dungeon near Khuul). No mods needed. No conditions need to be satisfied.
2. What good boots are better than the daedric ones? I haven't seen any.

Kakero 04-15-2004 01:16 PM

Ten Pace Boots ( heavy armour )
Cast When Used
Fortify Speed 20 pts for 120 secs on self
Fortify Athletics 20 pts for 120 secs on self
Drain Fatigue 5 pts for 120 secs on self
Slowfall 1 pt for 120 secs on self

Found in Bal Fell, there's a bug with this boot though when you use it.

Mellagar 04-23-2004 01:36 AM

My favorite armor.........my extra strength Huggies Ultra Super Absorbent Undies. My armor rating goes through the roof...it has a coma its so bad. That and my pocket knife.

promethius9594 04-23-2004 04:52 AM

hold up, are you serious, AC in the thousands?

HOW?!?!?!?!

Mellagar 04-23-2004 09:05 AM

You better believe it. These saggies might look like a brown paper bag hanging off my booty, but let ME tell YOU.....its all danger in disguise.

Oruboris 04-23-2004 02:36 PM

Honestly find the game un-playable without the boots of blinding.

I like the summoned armour better than the real thing: weightless, bonus to all the armor classes, even un-armoured, cheap/free to repair: my first golden saint always goes to a constant effect bound armour/weapon item.

I like the mask of vile-- fun being popular-- and lord's mail cuirass.

Where can that Necromancer Amulet be found?

orubus, you know you dont have to wear the bound item ring to keep bound items right? put the ring on to make the items, then unequip them all and put them in your inventory. next, cycle through rings until the bound item ring is off (don't just take it off, this will crash the game). you will find that the bound items have now become permanent weightless items in your inventory.

Kakero 04-23-2004 08:22 PM

Permenant bound item which stays permenant in yur inventory? I believe that bug have been fix on the patch.

Oruboris 04-24-2004 04:57 AM

It hasn't been completely fixed: Some of my weapons stay, others don't, armor doesn't...

Currently using bound cuirass, spear and bow in exquisite pants. 5 bound bows, 3 spears, and no cuirass are now in my inventory: can't be gotten rid of, but not all that inconvenient, since they count as 1 when cycling weapons.

Honestly don't know why this is, haven't deliberately tried to cause it...

the trick is you have to take off all items and put them in your inventory (or the ground, if it will let you, the newest version won't)

you can then carefully remove the ring using the described method above and keep most of your items (some dont work). i have the most updated patches, so it should work for you too.
