I`m getting a bit confused here about different things. Exactly where is Mournhold supposed to be? Also, I thought Morrowind was the continent that Vvarvendfell was off of, but it is Tamriel? King Helseth in Mournhold is said to be the 'King of Morrowind', what is the Emperor then? I`m confused!

WOW great question! from what I can figure The whole thing is morrowind and the game Morrowind the Elder Scrolls III is about Vvardenfell a Province of Morrowind an Volcanic Island in the north east sector of Tamriel (Tameriel being the Dunmer Name for Morrowind or vise versa this is where I'm not really sure.)There is a site that has the whole story and I'll see if I can find it again this weekend. when I do find it I'll post It here and then we will both Know the true story and who is who in Morrowind. unless someone beets me to it,

here goes...

- The world of Elder Scroll is situated on a big continent of Tamriel. which of course is a large part of it is controlled by the Imperial empire. Tamriel consisted of nations such as Morrowind, Hammefell, Daggerfall etc.

- The Emperor of Imperial empire is named Uriel Septim.

- Morrowind , it is situated on the northeastern part of Tamriel. Morrowind is happen to be Dark elf ( also known as Dunmer )nation. Morrowind is a giant U shape nation. The U of course is connected to tamriel. while on the middle of the U, is a big island named as Vvaderfell.

- The capital of Morrowind is named Mournhold. it is situated on the U. Morrowind got it's own Dunmer king and the current king is named King Helseth.

- The reason of why Emperor Uriel want Morrowind of have a king is so that the Dunmer be loyal to the Imperial empire.

maybe ES4 will be in Cyrodil because the emperor is dying and people is fighting for the succession.

ES4 is going to be in 'Obilvion' IIRC - where the atronachs and daedra are from.

And some useless info, another continent is called Avikari or something along those lines. If any of you still have Daggerfall installed, start a new game and it shows you where every nation/province is.

The island in Bloodmoon is above Vvardenfell. I believe the devs have said that you can swim to it if you want.

so you can swim all the way to the island? that's cool.

ES4 is oblivion uh? so we don't get a chance to go to cyrodil? sigh..
