I'm finally Archmage..... and i got expelled from the mages guild. :D I was in Ald Ruhn in the guild and i was standing in a room checking my inventory. I don't know why i did this, but i clicked on the bed that was there, but it belonged to someone. My crime was reported, plus i got expelled, but that's something i found out later. I ran to the Rat in the pot, and had the price on my head removed, and saved the game. When i came back in the magesguild, noone wants to sell me anything and the guildguide won't transport me anymore (again). I don't think this is a very big deal, because i already finished all their quests, but it's not really practical. :D They say to me i have to sort it out with Trebonius, but i already killed him in the Vivec Arena. Is this the end of my career as a mage ? If nothing can be done about it, i'm gonna raid all 4 guilds, and butcher every single mage inside. Sheesh, the friggin Archmage got expelled for sleeping in someone else's bed..... he should be honored. [img]graemlins/showoff.gif[/img]

And whats up with the designers being so anal about where you sleep :rolleyes: thats one of the few things I HATE about Morrowind. That and only having a good merchant to sell ALL your stuff to if you download a mod. The crab just doesn't cut the mustard!

Nope, i have two saves: the autosave and the quicksave. I use quicksave every 5 minutes or so because Morrowind has the nasty habit of crashing every now and then, and the autosave is only used when i rest. and guess what... that was in the Rat in the pot, because i needed to recharge my wizard staff, which was almost empty. So BOTH savegames were in the same place.

that really stinks, i dont' know what you should do.

I have 4 saves total. quick / auto / done / hmmm

done is the save I make everytime I quit playing for the day

and

hmmm is the one I make before doing something that I might regret futher down the road and will want to start over at the point before I did it.

That's not such a bad idea, i might do something like that too next time.

Oh, I believe this...I've been thrown out of EVERY guild in the game for sleeping in the wrong beds.

if its like the fighters guild you may find someone who gives you a second chance, in the fighters guild if you get kicked out find percius mercius and he will give you a 2nd chance, im assuming theres someone in mage guild who'd do the same, just gotta find em

Then you sit down and play the lute while singing songs horribly out of tune, and do this until the sun goes down. Then you give them a massive wedgy until their eyes sink inward and their head explodes.

This is TOO funny. Very similar thing happened to me as Arch Mage. After becoming THE BOSS I decided to take up residence in Vivec Mages Guild AND also keep my spiffy home that I use next to the Caldera MAges guild for a short commute to work. Statrted to do some house keeping and wanted to transfer a bunch of Sixth House/Main Quest Artifacts to set up on display in the Mages Guild Dining room. Went to clear off the table and took one stinkin fork and the whole pack was on me out for blood.

Well I didn't fight back I just sttod there sorta in shock. The worst part about it was they killed each other trying to kill me! Trebonius Amulet turns you into an Atronach PLUS I got that light armor with the 75% magic resistence so most of their spells just bounced off me but all the folks around me got killed. The only one left was the Guild Guide...LMAO! All she could do was punch me. I got really mad when I noticed that I had a nasty 6000 Bounty for doin nuthin. That was one expensive fork! Anyway I got ticked off after I saw that and whipped out Umbra and bonked her on the head. She died.

I restarted the game I needed those people especially the Guild Guide cause she's my commute home to Caldera. Sheesh what a bunch of bloodthirsty people!

once, i stole a fire salt. I kept it in my inventory for quite some time, and then sold it back to the mages guild. I forgot that i stole it, and then they attacked me, so i levitated to the top of the roof on caldera, and cast all my spells on the guards. THAT WAS A MASSACRE!

whenever i steal something and try and sell it back all they do is say "thats mine" they never attack me, maybe they like me too much to try [img]tongue.gif[/img]
