Get a Exquiste Shirt or Pants
1 Grand Soul Gem containing a Golden Saint (has to be a GS or you cant make it a constant effect) and around 15000 gold. You must also know the nighteye spell ;) Go to an enchanter or try it yourself if your good at it, and enchant the shirt or pants to constant effect Night Eye between 30 to 40%. It has to be a shirt or pants because you can wear them under your armour and you need your hands free for the awesome rings you get given to you or find in this game. And man what a difference having it on makes. everything is brighter (Morrowind is a dark game to begin with) and even in the deepest cavern or tomb you can see every damn nook and cranny and find all the good treasure on the floors. You also get bonuses to hit because seeing = easier to hit your enemy. Well worth the time and effort! BTW you can also name the item whatever you want when you enchant it. I did a shirt like I said and I did a pair of pants with the slow fall spell so I can jump from really high cliffs and take little to no damage. |
gamma resolution
nuff said makes even the darkest game bright (might hurt the eyes a bit though) but saves all the hassle of infravision etc, only found one game where it didnt work cos the caves in it really were pitch black, cant remember the game though :( is making a see in the dark spell really that useful to waste good items on when you could be putting it into killing maiming and destroying? Grungi the overlord of the world, .... muahahahahahahhaah . ahem |
Well, it's a good tip, so thanks dude. :D

Speaking of big enchantments, I enchanted a Daedric longsword to do 50 points of poison damage with every hit. Add that to the 30 to 40 damage the sword already does and you have quite the killing tool.
|
I enchanted my Sword of Virtue (Daedric Dai Katana). In it I entrusted the powers of:
Poison Damage : 1-10 2ft Frost Damage : 1-10 3ft Fire Damage : 1-10 2ft Shock Damage : 1-10 2ft Added to the already devestating effect of the dai-katana, little stands between me and victory! Also I enchanted a daedric two-handed war axe. My strength is boosted 46-50 points for 7 seconds with each hit. My strengths zooms up to 145...now that leaves a mark. I did the same for my daedric bow so the damage is doubled, but that is a constant effect, not a cast when strikes. |
I like using shields...
I received my first Daedric Katana by killing the guy downstairs in the Dren Plantation and enchanted it to do 50 to 80 points of lightning damage per hit. Stormbringer indeed :D [ 11-04-2002, 01:59 PM: Message edited by: Wurm ] |

Pfah, for a whole bunch of money and soulgems, you can potentially get a suit of clothes of the following.
Rings: Sanctuary 24 x 2 Exquisite Pants/Shirt/Skirt: Sanctuary 12 x 3 Extravagant Gloves: Sanctuary 4 x 2 Exquisite Belt: Sanctuary 8 x 1 All put on constant effect means... 100% Sanctuary ALL THE TIME. All physical damage has NO effect whatsoever. Makes it cheesy though. ;) |
Why not roll up to Ghostgate in a Panzer, pop the lid, pull off your goggles and shout "Hey, can the Beaver come out to play?!"
I mean hey, if you're going to do it, do it right. |

Look guys all I wanted was a item to make the game easier to see, not a power gaming tool that would take all the fun out of it. I hate playing a game were its *wack wack, hack hack NEXT!* And lets be honest around mid game your character is so near God-Like that most of the combat becomes boring anyway. |
to be honest once your in the level 60s there are no challenges anymore even if your running around naked all the fun challenges are when your lowlevel and find things hard to do, once past that im all for cheesy items, though i still havent done any enchanting
|
Powergaming is great fun just to see how powerful you can get you character, but then after about 5-10 minutes all the fun goes out of it.
if you want Ubercheesing then just make something thats constantly regenerating your heath about 10 - 15 points a second. then enchant a sword to do 50 points of damage (any damage) every hit (as i like to call it "the wand of death" as the swords damage is unecesairy and it doesn't make the hitting noise). thats all you need to cheese it. Well if you wanted to make an interesting item why not create an item that gives you resistance to fire but a weakness to frost? If you wanted to make it really off the wall make a sword that causes damage to everyone including you. But I suppose that would get dull too. Seeing as you would be the only one who kick your own butt.

Yes, i did enchant a Panzer to do 20-30 mortar damage on target. lol. Or you can just enchant something that's constant effect rally creature or something. SO you could summon beasts like aquaman!
|
Yes yes!! Aquaman...with the disposable underpants!
|
I usually get a good Helmet like the Imperial DrangonSacale or Ebony and enchant it that way.
|
ah damn it all i just want a sniper rifle mod, then i can take anything out at maximum range whilst levitating
|
do like 1 fire damage constant on target for like 1 hour..... you could just incinerate everyone, or incinerate yourself...same difference......
|
not as much fun as a sniper rifle, taking out those darned cliff racers before you can almost even see em on your screen
|
i just run for a while really fast like so i get like 20 of those rotten birds on my tail, and then i jsut fire a big fireball, then they all fall down. Its fun, you should try it!!!
