Does anyone know where to find a fortify skill spell, because I really would like to make a few enchanted items that require a fortify skill..
I have come across almost every spell except a fortify skill spell, and a restore magicka spell.
So if anyone know where they are, I'm all ears

Later in the game you'll find all kind of enchanted items with constant effect to fortify almost every important skill you have. I don't know how far in the game you are, but i suggest you start early with the imperial cult quests, you'll get a few usefull items out of that.

Fljotsdale 09-29-2002 06:47 PM

Hm. I've never joined the Imperial Cult........ *trots off to do so*

imperial cult early quests are some of the easiest in the game, you can advance about 6 times by just sitting in the room and knowing what items they will expect (unfortunately i didnt but if you want to spoil things for yourself check out a cult walkthrough and just collect the stuff they will ask for, saves you alot of running about with zero challenge at all (its just buying stuff from traders)

and if you want spells and have the cash then i think you find in wolverine hall they have lots of people with good spells, check all thieves and mages guild places across the continent they have most of the major spells, i cleaned em all out so i have most of the spells in the game which i never use anyway cept for levitate, almisvi intervention and heal just got them for completeness.

Okay, to be clear
I have almost every good constant affect fortify skill spell, and all the spells from the obvious places, ie. mages guild, telvanni, etc.
What I want to find, is any NPC, that gives spells that is a fortify skill spell. This way I can create my own constant effect fortify skill spells

If you have a spell (not a scroll or an item) with effect A you can enchant an item with that effect. You can change duration, area of effect etc. For example, once you learn any spell that does fire damage, you can make a ring of fireballs that does 20 damage for 3 seconds in radius 5ft on target or anything you like. If you know a spell that fortifies a skill, you can make an object that fortifies the skill.

Ok, I just re-read your post. Are you saying you have almost every good fortify skill spell? Or do you mean item? If you already have the spells, like I say above, you should be good to go.

Rageheart 10-03-2002 05:24 PM

do you get like superweapons and whatnot?

Raktizz Nemmex 10-04-2002 07:32 PM

K
I have all fortify skill WEAPONS.
What I need is the fortify skill SPELLS, I know that spells can make constant effect items, because I already have 13 made, fortify strength, restore health, restore health, etc...

So if you know of an NPC that teach you fortify skill SPELLS, please tell me.

And yes, Rageheart, you can get some kick A$$ weapons, eg., Sunder, Keening, and Goldbrand are the three best weapons in the game.

I think this spell is in the mages guild in Caderal (not spelt right I know.
You have to be Magician lvl in the mages guild to get the mage to offer training.

I have this and is well worth it as you get to choose which skill you fortify with each enchantment so the one spell can fortify all skills. as a marksman type char, this was the only thing worth joinin the '■■■■■ spellcasters' for ha ha

.I already have GOlden Brand, But that eltonbrand sounds like a spicy meatball (they are both the same thing, only eltonbrand gives you fatigue on strike)

I've looked and been frustrated as well...you may want to look for a plugin or expansion. Seems like cheating...but...oh well.

Good question.

Been looking. One of my PCs is the Mage Guild Boss and I've gone through all the guilds and House telvani (not easy since they hate me) and can find nothing.

Now when I go into a dungeon I use a low energy "calm humanoid speel" so I can talk to my opponnent to see if they offer training and sell speels. Quite a few of them offer training but only the High Elf enchanter at Indoranyon was offering spells. (so far).

It's either buried deep in the game (in some dungeon on some guy you have to charm) or it just isn't offered at all.

Of course I could have killed him/her already since I didn't start doing this until later in the game when I was able to enchant things...o well...

By the way anyone know how one gets the "Summon Sphere Centurion spell?" My Mage Guild Boss now has it but I can't figure out how...lol...he must have got it from a book since I KNOW he never bought it and he never misses an opportunity to invade the Dwemer ruins. Don't know just one day I was perusing his spells and there it was. heh.

Ok your answer...

Buy Tribunal, the add-on. The spells are there at various places to buy. But all you need to do is buy one and all of them become available for you to make/buy after that.

Whoohoo!!! wait til you see some of the magic items I'm gonna make!!!!

Another way: find all the threads of the webspinner (morag tong quest, special duties). You will get a fortify skill spell, or at least that's what it says here (hadn't finished with it yet):

Rageheart 11-23-2002 03:06 PM
