I downloaded a house mod, nothing insane about that. But then I proceeded to spend over an hour buying stuff like plates, jars, lanterns and candles to decorate my house with! I don't know what possessed me to do that
I also bought a nice collection of books that I read through and then deposited in my house. Now I suppose that I should get on with the main quest or with my guild quest.... Or I could buy some more books.... Or wait, I think that my dining room table needs another candle.... Aaargh! |
lol, what next I wonder? a maid to keep your house clean too?
emmm..if you play alot in the game, you'll find that the house is not big enough to store all your treasures. ;) |
I'm already beginning to feel that A full suit of Glass, Orcish and whatever the one that begins with "i" is takes up quite a bit of chest space.
One thing that annoys me is that books placed on a shelf aren't upright, at least not to me. I want them more orderly than just stacked up in a huge great pile on one of my tables |
Where did you get that, and how does it incorporate into the game Neb?
|
Have you buyed some carpents? or a bed with lots of pillows? and a dish washer? And if you sell one of the "soulgems" the one to 60 000 then you can get you an servant to help you lol! I hear that they have nice slaves in Tel Aruhn that can be your servant or slave LOL :D

Find Morrowind there. I chose the "House in the Hill" mod. It gives you a house in Balmora. The house has ample storage space and good lighting, it also has a mage guild teleporter(I don't use it.) and some Dwemer stuff in a couple of chests(Left it alone I did.). It has a bed where you can safely rest, plus a few soul gems lying around. It also has a small area with plants from which you can harvest alchemical reagents. The house will appear next to the pawn shop. Enjoy Should you choose to use it, that is |
Thanks Neb, I'll check it out. Does it screw with the game at all?
|
It has in no way screwed up my game It gives me an error message but I just tell it to continue anyway and nothing bad happens
|
Hey Hugh, i'll send you a copy of my house. I built it. I'm still adding to it. but it has a lot of storage space and is convieniently located by the vivec stilt strider.

I strongly recommend this Armor Mannequin mod. Go buy a couple in Caldera and place them in your house to show off your armor/clothes. |
Wow! Cool! :D Wheeeeee! Decorate! Decorate! I've got a whole suit of Glass, Bonemold and Orcish to show off in that way

You went to the www.rpgplanet.com Morrowind section? Then under "plugins" on the right go to "database" and do a search on House mods.
|
btw, slackerboy, did you take off some of the quest item from your house? I found a few quest item . eg, maps that are needed for certain quest.
|
You talking about those dwemer scematics, nah, i like them for decoration, i'm not really releasing it to the public, and i know Yoric likes to role play enough that even with them hanging on the wall , he will still want to go get them for the quest.

Heh, thanks SB, but I'm too damn lazy I don't mind clicking away those few error messages. And it helps me remember which mods I've got enabled
|
ha, i have to click that about 20 times :D
i have to many little plugins loaded. I would also strongly recommend the real signpost mod, and the quick character generation mod. |
I'll check 'em out.
I can recommend one other mod: The Passive Healthy Wildlife Mod It means that such things as non-bligthed/non-diseased rats and scribs will leave you alone unless you attack them first or continually bug them by hanging around. It's a bit more fun to have some wildlife than you can watch and admire as living scenery rather than having to chop everything that moves to bits |
Ahhh i got it here Neb lol! And it is lot of cool mod`s there! hehe!
