Ok. I am now level 12 (roughly) and I've gathered some pretty sweet (costly) items. Around 3-4 items, totalling on about 60.000 which is kinda cool. No dealer has ever had that much gold, but when I arrived in Ghostwater (or whatever the town is called) I found a trader who had some pretty decent stuff (armour etc) that was expensive.. I figured: I could finally get my moneys worth my exchanging, say my 40.000$ sword with a bunch of stuff I needed (armour).. So I went back to belmora, into the fighter's guild where I had stored my items... I took them out.. and guess what. My guild attacked me, and I got a message on the screen saying I was kicked out of the guild.

That's insane!! They were MY items.

What do I do? I don't want to break off with my guild, but I need those items.. I had some limeware in there as well which I stole from a ship in Ebonyheart. (or whatever the town is called, outside Vivee) Reason I didn't deliver it and end the quest, was because I couldn't find the person who needed the limeware..

1. How do I get my items without alienating my guild?
2. Where do I deliver the limeware?
3. Who was in charge of AI when they made this game?
4. Is it possible to crucify this person?

Can you sneak well? You can always go into stealth mode and steal your items back. Not really the best solution, but it's better then nothing.

I guess I could find a trainer, and spend half of my fortune maxing out my sneaking.. but.. arg!! I'm a capitalist, I don't want to blow money on crap.

Buy a chameleon potion. That should boost your sneak up enough to where you can get away with it.

Thanks for the advice.. you don't happen to know why this is happening? I spoke to a friend, and it seems ebony items are illegal. One of my items is an ebony helm worth 15.000.. could that be a reason? ..

Is sneaking a passive skill or an active? I press the mouse button, monsters die. I talk to people, I get quests. This is what I know about Morrowind.. I don't know anything about skills. I just kill stuff and talk to people.. do you have to do something in order to sneak, or is it enough to NOT run ?

I can give you an idea as to why. All containers have the possibility of an 'owner' flag, which affects anything within. Many sitting out on the street have no owner, but most within a building DO. If you put something in an 'owned' container, it picks up that ownership. Your best bet is to pile stuff up on a table, or even the strider platform, or download a house mod. If you take over a house you can store stuff within without worrying about someone calling the cops, but if you DO get stopped by a guard with a bounty anything that got reflagged as owned will be confiscated as stolen property.

you have to actually sneak, love.

if you haven't remapped your keys, you gotta press L Ctrl/W(forward) and hang in the shadows. if you are successfully sneaking, and NO one sees you, then you will have a special new icon in the lower left of your screen.

it will flash if someone glimpses you, and disappear altogether if you are spotted and someone is staring right at you.

btw: even with an accomplished thief like my topless assassin ;) i find myself getting spotted alla time. it turns out that sometimes i discover other "sneaking" thieves lurking around. i can see their shadows flick around on the ground when i'm in "sneak" mode.

The funny thing is.. I figured I could steal the stuff, and just pay a fine.. but that was out of the question.. the guards ran towards me with the intent to kill.. I wasn't allowed to explain myself/pay a fine/go to jail.. silly.

Well, but Vesselle IS a girl. And I can't say I -know- her, but from her posts I can tell she's a heck of a sweet one at that. Pretty knowledgeable (umm that's a word right) and helpful, so I don't think it's unusual that she'd call someone "love" from the way she expresses herself.

FWIW, Vesselle is a girl, and a cute one, too. Not to mention very sweet and knowledgable. And Ironworks is one of the friendliest, open boards I've ever seen. Unless you act like a jerk, and then Ziroc tosses you out quick. Check out General Discussions sometime, you'll see what I mean.

Whoa, there, I was just joking around.... no harm meant. I was trying to play off the misjudged gender thing, which happens a lot, and often can be humorous.
There is total freedom here to be whoever and whatever you are, as long as you respect other peoples' right to do the same. Nobody gets discriminated against, on any basis. Sorry my lame attempt at humor went wrong.

To get back on the topic:

I found a way. My items are gone, I have accepted that. They can still be bought, which is ok, but money is no longer an issue. I now have gear worth over 600.000 (mostly due to a dagger worth 400.000) and it's easy as cack to get more. I have the ordinator-armour and all I have to do is speak to an ordinator, and he'll attack me. When he's dead, I've got about 70.000 worth of gear. And that's just from 1 soldier. It's not illegal killing him either, because he attacked me first.

angel the black guy (kaye) wants the churches ceremonial limewear bowl back from carycayl(i think thats his name). but if im not correct ajira from mage guild wants a bowl for the flowers and shrooms. but that bowl only costs 10 bucks so i doubt its that one.or maybe your just on a whole nother quest that i havent seen. but in 1 fact kaye is looking to get back a limewear item back from that one ELF guy that stole it.......
