Post your interest in the game here.
PM me if your request is to be the werewolf, otherwise I will PM you to let you know whether or not you've been selected to be a special villager (ie seer, wolfbaner, werewolf, etc) {edit} variant rule to possibly be used in the future, ie not this game: Infection: when there are multiple Werewolves and one is removed they can infect a villager of any sort and that person will become a werewolf, this may be done as many times as needed to bring werewolf numbers back to game-start levels. If the wolfsbaner targets an infected werewolf for protection, the villager is freed from the curse. Only one person may be infected per night, and no one will be revealed as dead on a night infection takes place. An infected Wolfbaner will be dealt with if the need arises. I'm interested, would be happy with anything.

Yay! Definetly up for this!
Never played it on a forum before, but played versions of it on various places, including games(StarCraft). Love it. P.S. Not PMing, happy with whatever side you put me on. [ 06-24-2005, 10:51 AM: Message edited by: Bozos of Bones ] |
Bring on the furries.
|
The first game will be a generic theme, if there's enough participation and interest to begin other games, they can have themes, anything from space-colonies (ala Alien), to fantasy, to modern, etc etc.
and please disable sigs in the game thread once the game is moving. [ 06-29-2005, 04:03 PM: Message edited by: Morgeruat ] |
Naturally. I figure that this will be my only oppertunity to flaunt a sig so I may as well make use of it ;)
|
I'm in! I haven't read your rules as I'm very familiar with the game from another board. However, I'm going to go do that now, so if we're picking our own characters then I'll return and tell you who I'll be.
Mwahahahah BTW< Yes, the themed ones can get really creative and fun. :0) Generic is always good to start out with the first time, though! ~Salinye |
OKAY!
Read the rules. My character will be a Nancy Drew Wanna Be of the whopping age of 19. Her name is Drancy New and if you think THATS tacky, wait until you meet the character. *grins* Every story needs a bumbling idiot or 2. :0) Happy hunting! ~Salinye |
*note* current and future updates to the rules will be editted into the first posts, so checking on them occasionally will prove helpful (if a rule needs to be clarified in game a copy of the ruling will be ammended to the first posts)

haha, I love this game... I'll play. :D
|
ok, so far 5 players, I'll wait till monday for a few more players, then we begin.
|
Never done this before, but I'm in

Character for this game shall be Pippy, a cheerful peasant, who has never grown to his full height and is only about 80 cm tall (bit less than 3 ft). Has curly blond hair, and even has some bits of hair on his feet.
OOC: sort of mixture between Merry and Pippin in a non-Lotr setting for his characteristics. [ 06-26-2005, 04:13 AM: Message edited by: dplax ] |
Special persons have been selected. As of now there is one wolf, and no wolfbaner, if we get more players I may add a wolfbaner.
And reminder, please turn off your sig's in the game thread (this one is ok to show off your sig's) |
Frank the Barber
An overweight bald man of fourty, Frank came by his barber shop through a long apprenticeship. He knows people, and people know him, and the friendly chat is included in the service of the barber shot. The shop itself is called The Sharp Razor, and below the name, the words say An Ear To Ear Grin, mimicking Frank's twisted sense of humor. |
I shall be taking the role of Brom, the tawny old soldier with the wooden pegleg. Now old Brom may be a bit of a drinker, but his stories of was and battle have captivated many a now deceased audience. And boys, he knows a werewolf when he sees one. Or thinks he does at least.

Morg, I was thinking....(I know, scary thing when that happens.) However, I think it would be helpful if you named a time period. I think it would help us all stay somewhat consistent. If you prefer the random, I'm all for it. Just a suggestion. I'm having misguided thoughts of Drancy with a magnifying glass and someone else with a super l33t las0R gun. *grins* Not that that's bad!! Chaos sometimes breeds the best stories.
So, if you have a particular time period in mind (modern day times, mid 1800's, etc) then I'd love to hear it, if you just want tosee how it plays out, then that's cool to. :0) I'll wait to post until I see what your thoughts are. :0) Thanks! ~Salinye |
Early 1800's Eastern Europe, a few firearms would be available, primarily hunting rifles.
|
Thank you, Evil DM. I appreciate the info.
~Salinye |
As I told Rev, I will definantly be signing up ;)
I'll post a character a little later today. |
I will be shuffling the parts already assigned to account for Hivetyrant's entry (just so you know that nobody is safe).
|
I'll take the role of Kyrobe, the town Blacksmith. His views are thought as ubsurd, but the past has shown that he coud be right on the mark.
|
I'll be moving this game into night later tonight, if you haven't posted yet your life is in much greater jeopardy *evil grin*
Also note that during this day phase there will be no lynching, that will start tomorrow, when the Werewolf problem becomes a fact and not a suspicicion. [ 06-29-2005, 12:49 PM: Message edited by: Morgeruat ] |
As a reminder, if you are making an accusation please add it either here or in an OOC so that there can be no mistake of your vote for the group.
|
I think ooc at the bottom of the story posts would be most clear, imo. :0)
~Salinye |
that's two official votes for Drancy, one unofficial vote 3 players who haven't voted, and one Drancy trying not to swing from the gallows.
|
Just got back from the beach for the past week, was just wondering if it's still possible for me to join.
|
sure is, I have you on the roster, just post your character and then make an in character post.
btw congratulations on your engagement. |
Thanks, Morgy.
I'll be playing Simone, a sultry barmaid who doesn't like to be bossed around. She has snapping green eyes and flowing, curly raven hair that reaches just past her shoulder blades, with a few freckles dusting her porcelain complexion. She works at The Dragone's Bane, one of the more popular taverns, which she says is because of the great ale and service, although most people know it is because she works there. |
I have family gatherings both tonight and tomorrow, so it is very possible that I won't be able to post again until Tuesday. Holidays, they steal all the good writing time!!! :0)
I haven't voted yet, I'm still trying to decide who I'm going to vote for, but I'm assuming with the holiday, probably the posting might slow for hte next day or so. :0) I'll try to check in and if I find I'm the only one who is holding up the vote, I"ll be sure to at least post that. :0) ~Salinye |
I'll give till the evening of July 5th, a little less than 24 hours, before I post the lynching. Drancy, you'd better do some fast talking or you're going up to the gallows.
|
Alright, I entered Drancy's final plea. Either people can change their votes by this evening or hang the girl. :0)
The choice is yours... :0) ~Salinye |
*looks at Dplax/Pippy and starts singing*
Short People got no reason Short People got no reason Short People got no reason To live They got little hands And little eyes And they walk around Tellin' great big lies They got little noses And tiny little teeth They wear platform shoes On their nasty little fett Well, I don't want no Short People Don't want no Short People Don't want no Short People Round here Short People Randy Newman Mwahahah! ~Salinye |
grrr, the board was down for hours for me. Was it just me?
~Salinye |

The lynching will take place in a few minutes, I couldn't get on last night (Ruby wouldn't let me on my own computer on my own birthday *sniff sniff*
|
I could DM the next game with a special theme if anyone wants and I could have quite a few ideas for the theme ranging from Frank Herbert's Dune setting to french revolution or spanish inquisition.
|
I'm in for another game. There needs to be a few modifications to the rules, but I think Morgie is taking care of that. :0)
Had fun, great job, all! ~Salinye |
I think the great job sooner relied on good fortune, so I'm up for a round two to test that hypothesis.
