<marquee>Welcome Wanderers!</marquee>
Hail! For those of you who don’t know me, I am Spree. For those of you who do, cinnamon pop-tarts. I’m here offering you a chance to play in unique RPG. Why is it unique? Well, the reason I’ve been delaying so long is because I created this world from scratch. I call her Nomgrella, but you won’t be hearing that name so often. Instead, you’ll probably hear the name of your home-town, which varies depending on the race and class you choose. If you are a bard, you are assured a spot in Rhykatam, the busy metropolis named for Mesrhy, goddess of culture. If you are an elven ranger, prepare for one of the Dragon’s Clutch, but if you are that same elvish person under the influence of magic, home will likely be near a temple of Ciretose. Of course, there is a place in Nomgrella’s heart for the psychopaths as well, and a lovely grave in the Red Silence may suit you just fine. These are only a few examples. Over time you may journey over the span of this vast inland country, or you may die before you reach the Bulwark River (Assuming you made it past the gate of your home town.). There are no real nit-picky rules. Just make sure not to be a power-playing, stoneskin fanatic munchkin. That ticks me off. Ask questions if you’re confused. Don't join unless you plan to be active, and other than that, just play nice out of character and we should all get along just fine! So… You’re still here? I take it you want to join then! All right then. I’ll warn you now that I can take no more than 15 players. So type with haste! (LOL) To join you must give me some information about your character. NOTE that your character doesn’t need to be anything like you. If in real life you are a quiet, reserved, law-abiding, petite woman then feel free to play an out-spoken, rambunctious, tall roguish man. Just make sure you stick to the role you create. That rogue should not be a shy fellow according to the description I just gave him. Know that all races, classes, kits, and spells. come from Baldur’s Gate 2. I’m creative, but I’m not THAT creative just yet. So if you were disappointed with SOA’s array of magics, don’t play a mage here. What I am adding is sub-races. (I.e. gray elves and mountain dwarves) I’ve got a list of a few of those below, but I will accept others as well. Just make sure you know the difference! A sub-race is not required by any means, but it can make things more interesting. Sub-Races Dwarves
Elves
Gnomes
Halflings
Keep in mind that sub-races can be a dangerous thing. Think twice before marching your drow through the gates of Grella Castle! Now, without further ado, here is the list of joining information:
That is the basic information. Keep in mind if you are a ranger you’ll need to tell me your racial enemy, if you’re a cleric you’ll need to tell me a deity, and things like that. Speaking of which, each character is probably going to worship one deity or another even if they aren’t a cleric-so here is a list of gods/goddesses and what they represent, as well as their seat city/town if they have one.
Of course you character can always be an atheist… Heh heh heh… If you play a cleric I will give you more information on your chosen deity. That’s all you’ll need to tell me, and I’ll notify you if there’re any problems. (Please, just don’t try to give me a hermaphroditic drow druid that worships Veseer. You should know better than that!) Agh, and uh, try to be a little creative with your character’s personalities and physical characteristics. You only get one character, make the best of it! We will begin probably within a few days, (maybe the 18th or 19th) it all depends on how fast ya'll get in here! Hmm, this sounds like fun.
Can I join? This is me, Arleth: Male High Elven ranger Racial enemy: Raksasha Alignment: Lawful Good Proficiences: ++++ scimitar +++ two weapon style + warhammers Arleth is a ranger of first class, he strive to prevail good, and to defeat evil. You will mostly find him outside in the wood, where he trains, prays to his god Nedraw, and just enjoys the beauty of the wild nature. He is in good health, has no big damages, is strong, hardy and wise. see ya! |
Hail Arleth!
Deciding Your Location... Being a traditional Nedraw worshipping elf puts you somewhere on the Eastern side of the Bulwark River. Being a high elf, however, generally keeps you from the Dragon's Clutch, which is more inhabited by wood and wild elves. Therefore, you are somewhere West of the Wood of Last Words and not within the sickle pass and Peaks of Dragons... Arleth, your tale begins in the elven founded town of Mosreed. Mosreed is the southernmost establishment in the country. It's on the Eastern side of the Bulwark River. That very river which divides the country in two is only about a days walk from your town. Unfortunately, crossing is another matter. The ferry is quite a ways North, and it would take you the better part of a week to get there on foot. Mosreed is rather remote. The closest village being River-Rest two days away, and the closest city Evitan which is right next to the ferry. As a ranger however, you would be happy. Mosreed is within vision of the Wood Of Last Words, the vastest forest in the lands. The town depends on the wood for a lot of its food, since caravans normally go no farther than the sickle pass. You can expect a crowd every two monthes when a wagon does make its way to your town. Mosreed's primary trading partner is River-Rest, and the relationship between the two civilizations is remarkable. There are no other places that hold such a bond in the whole of the country. Your other neighbor would be the Dragon's Clutch, which is a union of the three elven settlements of Todmey, Llitrium, and Retaw. There are two ways to get there. One is to take the sickle pass from River-Rest, which will take about 5 days. The other is to journey through the Wood of Last Words. A quicker path at 2 days, but far more trecherous. Your role in town is like that of all the other rangers. First and foremost, you must help hunt and forage for your town. Each ranger has a quota to fill each month, and the rest of the time is free for them to explore. Though you do not spend so much time in your town, you do know it like the back of your hand. It is not a crowded place, and truly rather peaceful, as any threats come from the wood. It houses shrines, one to your god Nedraw, the other to the goddess Liril. The majority of classed peoples in Mosreed are druids and rangers like you. In spite of its remote location, Mosreed does recieve a fair amount of visitors. (Mainly from The Dragon's Clutch and River-Rest.) The tavern is in the Western-most corner of the town, and is called "The Bear's Cave." Your home is on the Eastern border, as close to the woods as you could dare. ;) There you are! Hope that's detailed enough for you! You'll begin exploring Mosreed as soon as I decide to kindle the game. |
I'd like to join!
My character is Elle the Moon Elf Cleric!(im making this up from the top of my head). Hail Elle!
Deciding Your Location... The moon-elves are generally a kind people, fitting to your role as a priestess of Myathea. However, poverty is no real issue in the lands native to the elves. Therefore, you are on the Western side of the Bulwark River. There are many large cities here, and therefore many slums. Rhykatam is the largest city, but also very prosperous. In this case, you are somewhere to the east of Lake Eharra and North of the ferry... Elle, your tale begins the bustling city of Karamikay. Karamikay is settled far to the North. In fact, there is only one settlement farther North than it. It's on the Western side of the Bulwark River. Your city is primarily so busy because of how close it is to the river, and even more so to the ferry. Indeed it is the closest settlement on the Western side! The ferry is only a few hours walk away from home. Your neighbors are the cities of Khalidin and Serinaquei. These three cities form a triangle, and so it is never more than 5 hours to get from one of them to either of the other two. Apart from your city's "sisters" there is Evitan, which lies just across the river. Where's you are the closest to the ferry in the West, Evitan is closest in the East. You live in quite possibly the busiest area in the country, and there are many shrines and temples in your city. Karamikay hosts two fine temples, one to your goddess Myathea and the other to Elek. The final religous sanctuary in the city is a shrine to Liatramo. This is due to the city's location. In times of war or peace Karamikay is easily accessed, and so prayers to the god of war are sent by the cautious. Your role in the city is that of a healer. Not everybody is fortunate, and your goddess teaches good will to the less fortunate. The temple you dwell is located in the North-Western corner of the city, fairly close to the gate of Serinaquei. The sick and wounded often come to your door, and you and your fellow clerics are only obliged to help them. The followers of Myathea are kind-hearted and generous people with inheritantly soft faces and calm smiles. Your uniform is that of a yellow robe and a grin equally as soft. What time you have apart from helping the needy is usually spent in medetation, and taking occasional quiet walks near the woods your heritage was so fond of. You goddess offers you enlightenment and peace, and you feel you have recieved it. There are other elves and people you can trust within your temple, and your days are spent at a noble cause. The majority of classed people in your city are warriors or clerics like you, though it is fairly diverse. Your home is on the opposite side of the city from the temple, so you know the lay-out of Karamikay fairly well. ;) As for your troubles with moon-elves, don't worry about it. Just know that physically you should be somewhat small, have amethyst or gray eyes, and an uncanny ability to dance in the moonlight. (LOL) |
Hail Thalali!
Deciding Your Location... You are of odd blood, but it is unlikely with such river acess that you would stay with your moon-elven bretheren. Therefore, you probably lived with the Aquatic Elves at the bottom of Lake Eharra for a time, but upon coming of age ventured to a nearby city... Thalali, your tale begins in Khalidin. Khalidin the westernmost city of the triangle. The triangle of course is made up of Khalidin, Karamikay, and Serinaquei. It's no more than 5 hours to reach either of the sisters from any other on foot. You are comparitavely close to the ferry, and if you walk through Karamikay it would take you around 8 hours to reach there. You however have sea-elven blood, and so a boat is a mindless invention to you! You came from the Eastern coast of Lake Eharra, of which Khalidin is in plain sight of. If the ferry was truly your destination, you'd probably swin a branch of the Bulwark to get there in half the time. Your gills come in handy at times like these, but you're still somewhat awkward on the land. Being raised beneath the waves, many surface customs make little sense to you. One such thing is religion. "Beneath the water there is no place for the Gods to hide. There is no sky for them to look down on us from." This is what you and your aquatic bretheren would likely say. In time you may be converted, but until somebody makes a conscious effort, you are atheist. Khalidin is a fairly adventerous and diverse city, even when compared to its sisters. Though you don't care, there are shrines to the gods and goddesses Tareniti, Conlea, and Taryt. Your home is technically under the water with your mother, but now that you have surfaced you live in a tavern. You board in the tavern closest to the lake you called home, a place called 'The Siren's Call'. Your occupation is that of a fisherman, and you make short work of your quotas. This is boring but fast work for you, and it leaves the majority of the day for you to explore. As you trod the streets you occasionally pick a random noble pocket. As time progressed you mortered certain berries with aquatic weeds and you now hold a side market of selling quality poisons. Whether those poisons are for insects or kings is generally up to you. |
Pop-tarts, yes... but cinnamon? I'm not so sure about that ;) And then, there's the anti-stoneskin regulation ... oh, what the heck... I'm in :D

Aw, only one character? what if my character happens to have a draconic partner..? ;-( well, looks like Lyulfe is going to have to sit out on this one... *sigh* anyways, here's my character profile
Skye female elf bladebard good neutral Proficiencies: +++ dagger +++ longbow ++++ bastardsword Character’s Personality: Very easygoing and easy to get along with, Skye always has a smile on her face, and practically everyone (including strangers) finds it easy to confide and trust her. Not wanting to have an opinion of any side, she doesn't follow any deity nor support any particular government. Because of this trait, Skye is usually a good mediator, and her friendly personality makes her a good bard. Sometimes she is a bit clumsy, but despite that she is a very lethal fighter. She has long dark blonde hair plaited into a braid to her butt, and has hazel eyes with an odd shade of violet in them. Skye is usually found in a tavern, entertaining the populace, or wandering about the countryside, in search for exciting quests (and inspirations for songs). This good? ^_^ cant wait |
Hail Mistral!
Deciding Your Location... Being human leaves you open to many starting places, but certainly not all. You should stay West of the organic Peaks of Dragons. You tendancy to be a quiet loner could leave you in a secluded town, but your worship would not be as supported in some of the Western villages... Mistral, your tale begins in the village of Eastway. This place is generally serene, but it lies between some of the busiest cities East of the Bulwark River. You would probably be more comfortable in a more secluded place like River-Rest to the South, but your religion can only be supported here. Traveling to the West side of the river would mean living in a city or being tossed around for being a mage. So here you are, stuck in Eastway. If anything could be said for the hamlet, it does have a nice view. On the horizon to the South are the taciturn and forboding Peaks Of Dragons. Your villages closest neighbors are dwarves. North is the town of Erikay, which was founded by dwarves, and underneath the mountains are the halls of even more bearded folk. To the West is the city of Evitan, and the ferry that could take you across the Bulwark. To any of these three places it is around 2 and a half days of walking. You live primarily in Eastway so that you might offer what you could to your god Ciretose. Though Eastway only offers a small shrine to him, it suits you as being out-of-the way. There are a few mages like you in Eastway, but it can be assured the norm traveled to the Westward cities. You hear there is a most grand temple complex to Ciretose in the city of Nearsessi, but you also hear the lakeside settlement is close to Grella Castle. Anything that is neighbors with royalty must be haughty. Your home lies bitterly in the Southeastern corner of town. It's as far as you can get from any bustle. It lies close to your shrine, and this leaves you content. You rarely travel from this corner of town unless you are buying food. Even traveling across town you probably miss some things. Many people in the village don't know who you are. If you sought to increase your magics, you might journey to the library in Evitan, but civilization seems to repel you. Who knows, maybe something will urge you forward? :D I think you use your tear-ducts more than your brains or your brawn queen of the soap opera! Hail Skye!
Deciding Your Location... Being so charasmatic and of such a wide-spread race leaves you with many opportunities. Your tendancy to wander could leave you so far as The Peaks Of Dragons, but your bardic talents would make you miss the city... Skye, your tale begins in the metropolis of Rhykatam. Though you choose not to worship the deity this city is named for (Mesrhy), Rhykatam is generally a bard's paradise. It's huge, bustling, and in the middle of everything! Rhykatam is on the Western side of the Bulwark River. It's closest neighbor is the Castle Grella itself, and its high towers on the sunset have been the inspiration for many a ballad. A short walk Northwards is a bridge that would lead you to the trinity of Khalidin, Karamikay, and Serinaquei. Walk over this finger of the Bulwark and you'll find yourself within two hours of either Khalidin and Karamikay. If you decide instead to travel West, the marvelous Lake Eharra awaits you, as well as Talever, the so called 'city of change'. The road to Talever is about 4 days however, so you would likely stop in the learning keep of Nearsessi. This settlement is only a little under a day away. In spite of the many religous venues in Rhykatam, you choose to remain atheist, and people respect you for that. Sometimes perhaps the elegant temples might prove as inspiration as well. Mesrhy has a most gargantuin complex in the center of the city, temples are dedicatied to Tereniti and Myathea, and there are small cornered shrines to Conlea, Elek, and Taryt. Overall the feeling of the city is jovial and happy-go-lucky. Bards are the primary class in this city, but there are also many warriors, priests, and rogues of all kinds. You make your home as close to the center of the action as possible. When you are short of coin you sing or tell tales at one of the city's four taverns. Namely 'Griffin's Nest', 'Spear's Tavern', 'The Golden Barrels' and 'The Strutting Stallion'. You know your way around better than almost anybody else in the city, and there's a general admiration and respect for you. ;) I mourn the loss of your draconic friend. Maybe you can compensate for his absence and find a new companion? :D There's a yummy bard in Talever, he's almost as tasty as a cinnamon pop-tart. ROFLMAO. |
Hail Lance!
Deciding Your Location... A human fighter most definately dosen't belong in the realms of dwarves and elves. The god of war is worshipped somewhat sparsely until you move to the middle. His middle-of-the-road personality would also work with this middle ground... Lance, your tale begins in the city of Croshent. Croshent is a middle latitude city along the Western edge of the Bulwark River. It is well-populated, but at the same time rather alone. It's closest neighbor is the Castle Grella, and so many warriors make their homes here. It is a somewhat dangerous location, as it is surrouned on all sides by elements. To the East is the Bulwark River, to the South the Passage Forest, and to the West the dreaded desert 'Red Silence'. Croshent is about a day and half's walk North to Rhykatam, and so caravans always hit it. It is also a crucial trading partner with the Southernmost hamlets of Marrowni, Karaci, and Herafaline. There are three Gods worshipped in Croshent. One is your god Liatramo. Another is Veseer. And the final god seems rather out of place- Yiralih. Somehow the gnome population made itself comfortable in this middle-ground. Overall though, the human fighters and paladins outnumber the gnomes significantly. This city seems at times a pen for all the King's soldiers. Your home is in the Northeastern corner of town, near the road to Rhykatam. Croshent is a beginning, but most youths clear out for adventure as the place is rather dull... ;) I was going to pick out an NPC to hit on you, because I adore green eyes (just ask Mistral), BUT then you made that little joke and now I'm questioning your sanity. :D |
Your questioning MY sanity? alright then Cinnamon Pop-tart!
G'night, ill post tommorow. |
Well, i dunno, i would question it... ;-P but then, i question mine also, haha (and mostly likely the majority of the people on this site, lol) ^_^ btw, you stole my hair colour, you, you, uh, hair... colour... stealer..! ;-P and you dont want to know the ironicnes(sp?) of you picking "Lance" for your name, hehe. ^.^;; dont ask, you really dont wanna know..
Hm, yummy you say? in Talever? well, i guess i better hurry over there as fast as i can. ^.~ im well known AND have respect? wow, usually if im well known,im not respected, cuz people are scared im gonna accidentally blow them up or something! lol ^_~ jk, jk... (er, no comment from the peanut gallery on this, especially grinch, and those from LS's bar or ORT Building) ;-P if i still had my dragon partner, would i have been able to go to the city in the Peaks Of Dragons? speaking of which, are we going to start, or are we waiting til we get more people, Killing Spree? ...erm, since ive rambled so long, im gonna be quiet now... ^_^;; |

Hail Glorfindel!
Deciding Your Location... Being proud of your heritage would keep you somewhere on the East side of the bulwark. Your class however, would not. Your craving for adventure would lead you to epic quests, but you would get homesick... Glorfindel, your tale begins in the city of Evitan. Evitan is the closest city to the ferry on the Eastern side of the Bulwark. You takes you generally 5 to 10 minutes to get to the boat from anywhere in the city. Evitan is therefore a city teeming with travelers, some of whom you may in time choose to follow. If you did want to find a group of adventurers to join, you might select one of the city's two taverns, "The Bulwark Inn" or "The Fox's Den". Evitan was built on the backs of many races, and is one of the most diverse cities in the land. There are other elves like you in the city, but there are also dwarves, gnomes, halflings, and humans. Surprisingly enough, the half-elf population is somewhat booming. What would interest your career most is the magnificent library. There is only one other collection of books in Nomgrella that could compare with this set, and that's all the way in Nearsessi! Your close neighbors otherwise are Eastway and Lirina. Eastway is about two-and-a-half days from Evitan, and Lirina is around 3 days. Of course, you might just by yourself a horse and cut the time in half. Evitan is filled to the brim with passing caravans and various markets, so shortages of anything are unheard of. Though you have no real set religion, there are a few places of worship that could prove amiable to you in Evitan. There are well-kept temples to Ciretose and Tareniti. But Evitan was built on the backs of many toiling people ages ago, and there are small shrines, most of which are in a state of disrepair to Nedraw, Yiralih, Atsill, and Conlea. Evitan truly is a beautiful place, with the crystal Bulwark River and the Peaks Of Dragons looming in the background. But you place your home in the Southwestern corner, facing home, Mosreed. At times you feel a little home-sick, but then you turn around and look at the adventures awaiting you! ;) Red-green eh? Is it Christmas-time again already? YAY!! :D I think I'll just wrap you up and... Hee hee... Nevermind! (LMAO) |
Hail Murdock!
Deciding Your Location... A human and a thief. This combination is typical West of the Bulwark, as he'd likely have had his silver fingers cut off anywhere East of Lirina. A large city would probably suit him, Croshent is rich, but lacking in his other interest. He is probably too unskilled to join the ranks in a place like Macadere... Murdock, your tale begins in Talever. This so called 'City Of Change' is also the Westernmost city in the lands. Talever holds home for many a traveler, but also many a noble. The pockets in the streets are ripe for the picking! Unfortunately, the mayor just tightened security. (Something about his son's pocket getting picked. Over-reaction if there is such a thing, eh?) This fresh crop of gaurds gives you a mind to leave, but you don't feel you've satiated your thirst for wealth yet. This city has more to offer, you just need to be more creative in getting it! Talever is bordered to the East by the dazzling Lake Eharra, but you're only human, you'll have to walk around to get to the trinity. (Khalidin, Karamikay, and Serinaquei) Why would you go there in the first place you ask? Seems an elf in Khalidin has a talent in poisons and you think the mayor of your fair city could use a sample. Your other neighbor is Nearsessi, but that's not only incredibly close to Grella Castle, but it holds no interest. City of Apprentices and learning. Bah, where's the gold?! The other option is to treck Southwards to the freelancing Trails Inn. This inn holds many newcomers to the lands, and with newcomers come their things. Perhaps you could... borrow a few of these? To the trinity is a 5 days walk, to Nearsessi 2 days, and to the Trails a little less than a day. Your home is secluded, in one of the backrows of the city. It's extravagent, be there no doubt, but it's out of the way. Your best bet on women might be "The Dragon's Clutch" a tavern named for the united elven towns. The tavern's owner is a watchful elf, but he's fallen ill as of late and has left the watching to his employees. Tread carefully if this is your path, there are a few able bards there that might slice you in two, or worse yet send you to the guard! ;) Green eyes... Haa... Aw damn, just Larry. :D [ 01-17-2002: Message edited by: Killing Spree ]
|
Hrm... OK... So far we have 5 males and 3 females... I say we should have things even. SO... If you are really quite anxious then get one of your male companions to change genders. (snip) :D No takers? Didn't think so. In that case, run run as fast as you can and find me two more ladies. I'm going to take this tea (that smells like a dog but tastes very nice) and go sit on my arse somewhere else. (Because this whicker is starting to leave an imprint!) I'll be back in about 2 hours. OK?

Hail Lerris!
Deciding Your Location... A human can live in a variety of places, but a magic user cannot. His thirst for knowledge could lead him anywhere from Evitan to Nearsessi, but he preffers to live in the woodland areas. He's not afraid to travel abroad... Lerris, your tale begins in the almost unknown hamlet of Shadowrun. Shadowrun is the farthest East of all the settlements, though Shadowrun itself is hardly more than a market and a few homes. Shadowrun is backed by the Shield Pass and has wonderful acess to The Peaks Of Dragons and Lake Narrow. through the pass you could reach the summit of either of those destinations within a day. The closest civilization would be the dwarven-founded town of Erikay, about 2 days North. The closest city is Lirina, which is around 5 days on foot. To reach the ferry at Evitan on your feet would take at least 6 days as the terrain is rather trecherous so close to the mountain and so far from the river. People who live in Shadowrun are generally looking for peace or hiding from something. There is one temple here to Elek. That is all. There is a shrine to Perrae, but it has been abandoned and defaced. A sorcerer dosen't have much place here, and you make your coin randomly and by adventuring. You are a nomadic person, and when you seek a roof over your head you go to "The Shadow's Keep". The only tavern in the hamlet. Seclusion suits you, but will your hunger for knowledge keep you in the quiet? :D Is it just me, or are all the eyes turning green? Hee hee... Sorry bud but when I looked at your description I thought of my mom's orthadontist. LOL! |
Hail Daelinda!
Deciding Your Location... Being a dwarf almost instantly puts you on the Eastern side of the Bulwark River. Being kicked out of your home however, bars you from the marble halls of The Peaks Of Dragons. Instead you would try to abondon those that shunned you, and you chose a unique deity as well. You probably wouldn't want to journey as far as a large city with your temper, and you probably didn't want utter seclusion... Daelinda, your tale begins in the dwarven founded town of Erikay. Erikay is on the Eastern side of the Bulwark River, and in the center of a lot of excitement. To the North is the city of Lirina, to the West is the village of Eastway, to the East is the hamlet of Shadowrun, and to the South is The Peaks Of Dragons. The Peaks Of Dragons leave a bitter taste in your mouth as your old home, Hkecced, lies beneath the mountain. To reach Lirina, Eastway, Shadowrun, or the summit of Hkecced, it would take you around two days of walking. If your desire was to cross the Bulwark River, you would need to get to Evitan, which is a journey of no less than 3 days. Religously this city suits you, as there are only two shrines. One to Atsill, the other to Liatramo. You like to go against the flow, and so you made your residence on the Eastern side of town. It's quieter there. If it was money you needed you'd likely head off to the local tavern, "The Marvelous Mug" and arm-wrestle some overconfident human. In spite of your heritage, you don't mind the company of elves. It seems you chose this deliberatly to break even farther from your banishment. You also do a bit of mercenary work, and take pride in defending your town... Even if you scare a few civilians in the process. :D A berserker woman... And a dwarf at that! YIKE! That's unique. Hail Aoisan!
Deciding Your Location... A wood-elf might find the need to wander, but a druid would want to stay close to the forest. Religion might lead you to the seat of Lirina... Aoisan, your tale begins in the sylvan keep of Todmey. Todmey is the Westernmost of The Dragon's Clutch, which is the united name of the three elven keeps of Todmey, Llitrium, and Retaw. Any one of these three towns might have suited you, but Todmey is closest to the forest. About 2 miles South of your town is The Wood Of Last Words, which is the largest forest in the lands. Todmey is also the fastest track for the adventerous, as it is within a day's walk of the Sickle Pass, and another two days withing the village of River-Rest. Your closest neighbor however, is Llitrium. To run across the Dragon's Clutch would only take about two days. North are the looming Peaks Of Dragons, and the halls of the Dwarves. There are only two places of worship within the entire clutch. In Retaw there is a vast and awe-inspiring complex to Nedraw, and in your town of Todmey there is a fair sized temple to Liril. Your purpose as a druid is to protect nature and serve your goddess Liril. You don't spend much time within civilization, but you are fairly well-known in Todmey. This is primarily because of your skills in potion-making. You've tried many combinations of leaf and berry and now you can make a living off of it. The question being, do you really want to spend the rest of your days peddling ground up bark? You're scary, yellow eyes... |
Name: Khazvor
Gender: Male Race: Human Class: Wizard Slayer Alignment: Chaotic Neutral Proficencies: Two-Handed Sword +++++, Axe +++, Halberd +++ Character Personality: A very grim and determined warrior, he not so much despises magic like many wizard slayers, but mainly uses his ability because he is ver wary (with good reason) of magic, knowing it to be a dangerous weapon in the hands of his enemies. Apart from this, he tolerates magic users, and in his past, has befriended a few. Also, he is a loyal and steadfast friend, often impulsive and with a keen passion for fighting. Physical description: Very tall, and stockily built, largely muscled. Black hair with short beard and stony grey eyes. Worships Liatramo. [ 01-17-2002: Message edited by: Talthyr Malkaviel ]
|

quote:
Originally posted by Killing Spree:
You're scary, yellow eyes...

I thought that Wood Elves frequently had yellow eyes, but when I looked it up in my digital copy of 'The Complete Book of Elves' I found that yellow wasn't even listed among the possible eye colors... Ah well, it adds some flavour. BTW, sorry about being so brief on Aoisan's personality, but I was called away, so had to make it short. Was gonna edit my post to add some detail, but after reading it again and since you've already accepted me, I think it suffices. It's only a rough draft anyway. |
Hail Khazvor!
Deciding Your Location... A human has many places in this world, but the combination of a wizard slayer does not. Your tolerance for mages however, re-opens the roads. You could end up on either side of the Bulwark. Your keeness to fight might lead you so far as Erikay... Khazvor, your tale begins in the Southern village of Marrowni. Marrowni is on the Western side of the Bulwark River. It's grouped together with two other villages of similar size, namely Karaci and Herafaline. It's a rather exciting and dangerous place, home to many adventurers, beginners and retirees. The main danger is not the Passage Forest, which lies only two days to the Northeast. Rather the danger is the dreaded desert, Red Silence, which is only a stones-throw away. The closest city is Macadere, within the red silence, but you wouldn't dare travel there. The majority of people who do don't come back. There's also supposed to be the mighty Mesa Fortress within the whirling sands, but once again, too dangerous. In your cautious nature you don't often confront yourself with the line between courageous and fool-harty. If you wanted to make your way to civilization, you would need to run through or around the Passage Forest. The closest city outside of the desert is Croshent, which is nearly 9 days away. Stuck within the three closely nestled towns of Marrowni, Karaci, and Herafaline is not so bad though. The land is rugged for would-be adventurers, and there are many opportunities. Small active shrines have been erected to a good number of the Gods of Nomgrella. Within Marrowni there is Tareniti, Liatramo, and Elek. Within Herafaline is Myathea, Mesrhy, and Ciretose. And Karaci is rather the odd one. You don't travel much into there. Queer folk wandering around, new shrines. Originally there was but one shrine in Karaci, and that was to Veseer. But recently two new shrines were built! One to Taryt and the other to Zanimod! Yes, you fear innocent Karaci has been corrupted. If you could venture past the gates you could check it out... But what if something truly terrifyingly horrible had happened? In any case, you stationed your home as far East in Marrowni as you could, close to the gate to Herafaline. You just feel safer there... |

quote:
Hair-color-stealer

??? You can steal hair colors? in that case there must be thousands of thieves And i'd watch out cinnamon, i eat pop tarts like you for breakfast! , seriously i do!!!! Yummy... Arch-moderater Larry has joined! that means this thread is officially cool! Hello Khazvor my fellow Wizrd Massacrer!! P.S. I think instead of fixing the gender problem (to many guys) we made it worse... P.P.S. Also i retracted that "joke" please pardon me, to STEAL a quote from tethtoril "Without sleep life is but a mere shadow of intellect" or ssomethin like that, [ 01-17-2002: Message edited by: Holy Knight Delita ]
|
D'oh!!!
I thought I had read the whole topic, cos I didn't wanna copy anyone, but I must've not noticed yours. Double d'oh!!!!! |
Time to post the Description and Personality!
Description: Height- 5'4" Eye Colour- Amethyst Skin Colour- Pale Blue Hair Colour- Deep Blue, long + straight, Personality: Elle is a kind caring elf and is very peaceful. She has a wide range of healing spells which she uses to help people in the slums every day. She is charismatic in a peaceful kind of way - like she gains respect of everyone who talks to her, a calm aura one might say. She has a kind smile and gentle eyes and will help anyone in need. She is not too lighthearted or too serious, just calm and caring (etc. etc. blah blah blah wibble cheese flavoured chocolate.) Don't count the bit in brackets. |
Mayhap I should change my character then, no offence to wizard slayers , but I never choose to be the same as someone else.
Maybe a frivolous and aloof jester, or a stealthy devious assassin, I shall ponder this one carefully. |
I see. No offense taken, Larry has already taken up the position as thief, but he isn't an assassin. Skye is also a Bard but not a Jester, etc.
P.S. Know what would be a cool race?!? a Drow Dwarf!!!! |
