After having anomen for 3 i think in game days a messenger comes and tells him about his sister's murder.You head back to his house and decide if you want to take revenge or not.In 5 in game days after that fact Anomen is summoned to the Order.
If you didn't take revenge he becomes knighted.That means he gets 16 wis and becomes LG
If you did take revenge he fails and become CN.
BTW what did your topic title had to do with the post?

except in there its a closed topic. so ive had him for 6 days and nothing...besides the stories he tells you...when and where does the messanger come from?

Normaly it hapens after 5 ingame days.Go outdoors preferably at the windspear hills.The messenger should appear there.If not rest there.
Your LT rating must be 13 by the way

5 ingame days?!? Once he amasses enough experience to hit cleric level 13 - the messenger should arrive a day after that, if not sooner. It took me a couple of weeks' solid questin' to build him up that high.

Load up Shadowkeeper (dont worry, were not using it to cheat) and load up your save game. Go to the global variables section and find ANOMENLOVETALK, the number after that is the LT rating for the anomen romance. NB, the name might not exactly be ANOMENLOVETALK. You can also do it throuhg the CLUAConsole, but I havent a clue how.

You can also do it via CLUAConsole.
Open your Baldur.ini file in the directory where you have SoA installed.
Under program options write Debug Mode=1
Under game options write Cheats=1
Load your game and pause it.
Press ctrl+space to open the console
Type GetGlobal("LoveTalk","LOCALS")while having your cursor on his portrait.
That should diplay your current LT rating.

Not to throw a spanner in the works, but I don't think Anomen's trial as a knight is controlled by the LOVETALK variable... else, how would his knighthood work in games where a PC is not romancing him? There's an ANOMENGOESTRIAL and ANOMENKNIGHT variable, but I don't know what they should be set to to trigger the messenger.

In a non romance situation it is different.I think that is controlled by his level as you said.
In the romance it happens at the afore mentioned LT!

Open the console again and type
CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("LoveTalk","LOCALS",13) to set it to 13.
Then go to the Windspesr hills.
You are missing the fun though!

Since tour LT is 13 you will have to wait for the next dialogue to pop up.It should happen in about 40 minutes.After the dialogue the messenger should appear.Try resting after the dialogue at the Windspear Hills.

Hey give me a break i had to get dressed and eat breakfast! plus it took awhile for the next convo to come. so ur lucky, as soon as our convo ended a messanger came to the place we were at (i was torturing cowled enforcers with fiends muhaha)so im at his house right now. so yes, it worked. lucky for u!(puts dueling glove away)

Right after LT 25.

I'm not sure what I've read here with all the variables and everything, but in each game I've played, Anomen's sister's murder has occurred roughly 5 game days into when you first pick him up. His level has no bearing on it, and neither should the romance variable.

Anomen and Aerie's quests generally kick in right about the same time (Aerie's is the same as Bard's SH, Anomen's is his sister's murder).

Anomen's trial kicks in right about the same time as Jan's quest (roughly 3 weeks gametime, around the 21st day; usually (annoyingly) right when I'm about to do Trademeet...grr!)

And if you're following the female romance option, Anomen's departure for Saerk's manor occurs roughly 1 week after his knighthood (after the second *ahem* night together...)

I think (but haven't tested this out) that the romance and stronghold quests are suspended during the Brynnlaw-Asylum-Underdark sojourn and kick back in when you emerge in Chapter 6...so if you haven't finished them and want to get Imoen early, feel free to do so. I know for sure the SH quests are on hold during this period; not sure about the Romance ones.
