Hey there everybody!

I need some serious help here. I think I did a boo boo, and I can't find a way to fix it. Sometimes in BGII:SOA you can do something out of order and it won't recognize you've completed a task. Anyway, here's the dilemma:

Inside the planar sphere (I'm in Chapter 3), the long, lost relative of Valygar Corthala is waiting to try and kick the crap out of you. Well, after getting thrown around a few times, I reloaded from a quick save and summoned a cacofiend even before I went into the chamber with him. The cacofiend, of course, whupped up on him in an instant, but now the wizard just lies there, and I can't kill him completely. What am I to do. I don't want to start over, I've already killed the Firkraag dragon and gotten so much cool stuff. I know I don't have to complete these quests, but it would be nice :) to get all of the experience points from this.

If you know a way to fix this, or if this has happened to you also, please let me know.

As for your question, your not supposed to kill him. He'll give you a quest. So try talking to him.

That's what I mean, though. I think I screwed up by summoning the cacofiend. I can't talk to the guy when he's lying there twitching. He heals, but he never gets up. Just lies there. Any ideas? I hope, I hope, I hope, I hope.

Urm... just talk to him while he is lying down, you do not need to wait for him to get up.

I've even gone away for over a day to do other quests, and he still just lies there twitching.

Well, if you still cannot talk to him, then just pickpocket him for a really nice ring.

PS: Is he still neutral?

U can do other quests??
That means ur back on the prime material plane...
Uhh.. What class are u?? U can just pickpocket him for the ring it doesnt matter if he doesnt see the sun again...
UNLESS YOUR A MAGE.

The game tells you that he has nothing to say to you? Does he have a red circle around his feet from you attacking him? If he does, try casting friends or charm person, and then see if he'll talk to you like a good boy.

To answer both of these (good) questions:
No, he's not neutral...I think he's upset at me for hitting him in the face with the flail of ages.

And no, I can't pickpocket an enemy.

Yes, I can do other quests because I already went back to the material plane.
I'm a ranger, and a darn good one at that!

Yes, he's an enemy...and HEY! You might just have an idea there with the friends spell. But what I'm worried about is his magic resistance. He does have some...I think. I'm not sure, but I can try. I figure if this doesn't work nothing will.

the whole point of lavoks quest is to get back to the prime material plance. so if your already back you musta did it somehow. it was a thing involving a demons heart and an engine room.

Well, I tried to be friends with the little S.O.B., but he saves vs. any spell I throw at him such as Dire Charm, Charm Person, Friends, etc. Anyone wanna tell me how he saves vs. spells when he's lying there like a pile of goo.
