This is the first time iv'e played through as an evil character and I must say it ABSOLUTELY ROCKS! The game is really not geared for evil players, as far as quest options go, but you can still have some fun.(POSSIBLE SPOILER) I picked a fight with Anomen in the copper cornet and he chickened out, so I hunted him down, burst into his house and made him watch while I gutted his family (hehe) then killed him, Took the job from Firkragg to kill Garren Windspear, gave Firkragg the deed to the land then turned on Firkragg, but one of my crowning achievments was going into the most poofy order of the radiant fart, picking a fight with the head honcho up the back (25 000 xp) then killed every single person in the place (2500 xp per knight) Also, just before I went to Suldenesselar I cast cloudkill inside every tavern in Athkatla, after each one I got to kill a bunch of Amnish guards an two cowled fools. Also killed Ribald just for kicks. Needless to say after a while I couldn't go anywhere without being attacked by an Amnish death-squad, but hey no-one can stop me, im invincible. I think iv'e finally found my true alignment. (it was Anomens accent that finally sent me over the edge.)

That is so evil lmao
|
Haha funny
The only thing I don't like is the damn guards that appear when you are mega evil is annoying but understandable I guess Also I am always reluctant to kill innocents because it sends shop prices up too much |
Sic Skeleton Warriors/Fire Elementals/Aerial Servants on the enforcers, they are immuned to normal weaponary.
Steal from the shops, do not buy. |
I really enjoy killing gaurds who say things like
"Ill have no trouble from you mind" BLAM MAGIC MISSILE IN YA FACE!!! Oh and i really enjoyed killing Aerie and Her Uncle! |
Ooh and when you come across any wild animals that are grazing peacfully. Korgan throws a lovely death blow with the dwarven thrower!
|
I'm gonna try that radient heart attack!
Top idea me old evil fella. Try summoning a pit feind where there are a bunch of children and the kill one of them yourself. Watch with glee as the kids turn red and scatter with a demon running after them. |
this evil thing sound`s intresting...hmmm
yes i`ll play as evil when ive finished this game i play now mouhahahahaha |
Ha Ha!! Sounds like you all are having way too much fun!!
|

This is just too cool!!! I never considered all this stuff before!! Maybe time for fistandantilus to be planed in to commit some good ole down home atrocities lol. MUWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
|
this thread just changed my mind. I just started a game i was going to solo as a neutral bard, but now im going to play as an evil character. im thinking about an assassin dueled to a mage. and then I'll just go about murdering everything in sight, just for the death of it

I agree. Being evil rocks! I returned to Athkatla at the end of the game with a high level mage I killed EVERY SINGLE PERSON THERE. I cleaned out Suldanessellar and the Brynnlaw island. I went for TOB and cleaned out Amkethran. That was a great game

you do reallize you can be a LOT more evil being good, get 20 rep and then you can run aroung killing people and still not get attaacked all the time
|
Hey, you evil guys. Don't make me come down there!
|
But to get a rep of 20 you have to be good for a while, which kind of defeats the pupose of being evil...... Basically I look at it this way, if I cant think of a reason for someone to live then I kill them, if I can think of a reason for them to live then I wait till iv'e got what I want from them, then I kill them. Following this philosophy my rep bearly gets to 12 before it dives dramatically.
|
YEah! Preach it on!
Other cool options: If you're an assassin, when Edwin sends you to get his papers you can choose to silently snap the dude's neck. You can poison the druid grove instead of defeat Faldorn The Drow City simply speaks for itself. When you're tired of living, simply piss off a female and act the way you want to :D In Trademeet, you can refuse to give the heirloom to the authorities and sell it off to a house of your choice. You can do Bodhi's quests You can pick all the evil dialouge options without feeling guilty You can pick on beggars and hookers You can actually have fun with Korgan And this is the best bit... You get to turn on Viconia :D |

250 you have got to be kidding,"no purpose in being evil, just do bad things" the whole point, as far as im concerned, is that if you're good you do good things, if your bad you do bad things, thats all part of role playing in my opinion. Your motive for doing things all depends on your alignment. (a good person wouldn't do bad things.)

I have to agree with 250.
Furthermore. I think that in some cases evil can be... well, not so evil. For example, my character is a Lawful Evil Necromancer. He doesnt go around killing people undiscriminatly (I dont think thats a word ), and doesnt steal, etc because that would be against the set law. But he does not have the morals of a good person, so he kills, tortures and dismiss everybody not as powerful as him with gusto. He doesnt have problems doing evil things in drow city (its not against the law there!), and killing thieves is one of his favourites pastimes (ahhh, nalia nalia... it was a pleasure disposing of the snotty noblegirl). Anyways, for a complete explanation you should read the alignments description. They are the same as in AD&D core rules (p&p) and they give you a simple and quick setup as how you should run your character. You are more than free to not follow them of course! But in that case you would be roleplaying another alignment, NOT the one you chose. |
basically i do what i want to and dont really feel guilty about it. for MERLIN and 250 what if your neutral. i mean you have to maintain the balance, that could be doing some bad things and some good things, and in some cases nothing at all.
|
Did you guys read my second posting? did'nt think so.
|
Hey guys, I'm to lazy to read all of this, and since I'm really busy, and this is my only relaxing day for a while, i have a question. I heard somewhere that in the Umar Hills, the shade lord asks you to kill the dragon. True or false????
