I want to know ur opinion on who is the HARDEST and EASIEST dragon to beat. The Shadow Dragon? Firkraag? Silver Dragon? Dragon on Elven Village? Or the Dragon in hell?
My opinioin:
Hardest:Firkraag
Easiest:Silver Dragon

I never fought the silver dragon, being a good or neutral character. I think that the shadow dragon is the easiest and the Black dragon is the hardest.

Where there are monsters and barbarians there will be Byronas fighting against them.

I think the Silver Dragon is the hardest as its the only one who i never defeated, gave it a couple shots but died each time. With my last party I killed Firkraag on the first try, just used breach and a lot of summons and had my party pound him to death. lvl 12 to 13 party

But I give the easiest dragon award to the Shadow Dragon because i've had the least difficulty defeating him with every party i've fought him with.

The Silver Dragon is very very easy, if you have Skeleton Warriors, they are immuned to her Cold-based attacks. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif

I found all the dragons easy. The easiest was Firekraag hardest the one in hell because I wasn't expecting it and had no time to prepare but I did kill it first time with small amounts of damage to my party.
And I have not used cheats yet.

dragons get even easier with ToB installed.

using me, minsc and jaheria with greater whirlwind i got saradex (hes a red dragon in ToB, think firkraag but harder) to badly injured before he had time to go hostile, then finished him before he finished casting haste.

i did have the vorpal sword on minsc, but dragons seem immune to vorpal hits. the ghost still appears, but the dragon dosent die.

also all the lame tactics become harder due to their superior ai.

If you get a dragons magic resistance low enough and remove its protection then is it possible to use the command spell on them and control them?.

If you were 'Good' aligned, you shouldn't have fought the black dragon...

umm, buddy, Command is a first-level priest spell designed to put the target to sleep for 2 rounds... although it MIGHT be possible to charm them, never tried. you'll just end up killing them anyways, so that would be a pretty big waste of time, if you ask me.

Ok i just defeated the silver dragon with my good guy party in one try (same party i killed firky in one try with) and she's not that tough i guess, used skeleton warriors on her, the battle sure did take a long time. Difficulty-standard ad&d rules

I think the easiest is shadow dragon and hardest dragon on elven village(black dragon)

well, the black dragon is easy, 'cause when you fight him you're most likely at a very high level...

How many times do I have to say this (probably too many). With Firkraag, the Silver Dragon, and the Shadow Dragon, you can place traps around them. Then as soon as you trigger the fight they die instantly (if you have used enough traps). I should point out that this does slightly overpower Bounty Hunters as Theif Kits in my view. As you can't use the same trick on the other two they are harder (although you can avoid the one in hell anyway and who really is looking for experience by that stage? If you haven't maxed out by that stage in the game then you have missed out a lot of the side quests).
