I'm just wondering if you could give me some feedback here:
I wanna know what amounts of damage any single person had done
to ONE enemy in a fight.

me: assasin-mage lvl 16,21

against some Underdark-mage you free with a freedom-spell

Time-stop:
-poison-weapon, backstab : 107 dmg (critical hit) + 24 poison_damage
-Meteor swarm 2* 4-40 damage max.dmg = 80 dmg
Time-stop:
-abi dalzim's horrid willting max dmg = 21*8 = 168 dmg
-abi dalzim's horrid willting max dmg = 21*8 = 168 dmg
-spell trigger (3 * cone of cold) = max.dmg 105 (*3) = 315
-skull trap = max.dmg = 126 dmg

So in a perfect situation i would have dealt out :
!!!-988-!!! dmg

You'll need a truckload of speed-potions to match that with any sword,

I dont remember the damage but I got pretty high with the Carsyomyer +6 (in ToB) agenst a chaotic evil person, a critical hit, it was high, dont know the exact number.

I average 30+ damage per hit with a katana with my kensai/thief.....unless I switch assassination mode (ToB high level ability) on then we're talking 200+ each whack, it gets worse when he's using his kai ability as well.

Alternatively there is aways the 30th level sorceror in the Robe of Vecna...now that's real unpleasnat in damage terms.

I've hit 350 damage in a *single* blow, using a grandmaster KAI critical quintuple backstab with staff of the ram+6 and 25 STR using a kensai/thief (kensai was lvl 18 when I duelled). Beat that http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

I'm a bit confused as to how you can deal out 45 dmg with Crom Faeyr without it being wielded by a kensai at the time......

Heres what I figure. 25 STR = +14 damage. A ranger can place no more than 2 slots in any melee weapon =+2 damage. Assuming you've got some gauntlets of weapon expertise = +2 damage. The actual weapon hits for 2D4+3 and 1D8 electrical = maximum damage of 19 from the weapon. Add all this together and you get 37 MAX. there seems to be a bug with surray- i did 1051 damage to a wraith with it.

I don't think it's a bug. It's the games way of ensuring that the undead don't survive if they don't make their saves.

I don't know how you figure you can do all that damage without the mage dying. As I recall, that mage only has like 80 hp. So thats theoretical damage, I assume?

Anyway, for my highest damage, once I got Edwin to cast Time Stop against the group of Fallen Paladins, cast two Abi-Dalzims into the fray, a flame arrow, and two magic missles. The ensuing damage was about 400 or so. Everyone died http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif

although if youre talking NORMAL damage, id say about 170 from my regular Thief to a Yuan Ti mage

Iv'e done around 1050 with sunray, (love that sword, whatever its called.) but as far as hack and slash damage, that would have to be with my assasin, 206 backstab damage (critical hit) to a certain person in a dream in spellhold, once he walked inside, the dialouge started "how do you stand?!! this cannot be" etc... very amusing.
