I finished downloading it and installed it. **jumping with
joy** I went to play it and it loads up fine. The info
with the download said it had 75 new kits. Do you have
to do something else to get access to the new kits, or should
they be available from the start. (I started a new game and
there's still nothing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Are you sure there were no new kits? Mind you there are no new classes, so the list of classes didn't increase. Just check the Fighter class for example, plenty of new kits. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif
If you indeed have a problem, I advise you to go to the official darkest day forums ( http://www.teambg.net/tdd ) and report it over there. But check again, this sounds like a very strange bug, especially considering I had no problems with them.

I tried male or female, every class, and it just had the same
old kits. I already uninstalled ToB, so it wasn't that. I'm
going to uninstall my SoA and see if that helps. So much for
all my saved games.

Hmm... I assume you reinstalled SoA when you were prompted to? And did you start a new game? I believe it says you have to do that for the stuff to work... Hmm...

Ehm... Darkest Day is not compatible with Throne of Bhaal, so if you installed Darkest Day over BG2+TOB, it won't work... And uninstalling ToB won't work either in that stadium anymore I think, it's already too late by then...
Have you tried installing BG2 and then TDD (thus not installing Throne of Bhaal)? Oh and you won't lose any savegames when you uninstall BG2, don't worry. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif

It's working now that I've reinstalled it. (I tossed out the
saved games and everything that was associated with BGII, to
make sure it worked.

Luckily I never got touched by the wraith. How 'bout the
guarded compound, now that's a surprise. I love the new NPC's.
I've already had one party fight. Lost a dwarf. I just had
to take Adario Kalvaras and Robillard along.


Another quick question. Has anyone had a problem with Jaheira's
friend in the Copper Coronet? The first time I talked to him,
he had a ton of cool 'specialty' items. Samurai stuff, ninja
stuff, all kits specific items. Now everytime I talk to him,
I have only his usual items and three of the new items. Any
ideas?

Go to the Five Flagoon's Tavern in the Bridge district. Next
to the gal with the attitude (I've killed many a pirate or
whatever she says) and there's a "salesman". Talk to him and
buy his map. It opens a new town on your world map.

Have you noticed that the quest that you do, don't go on your
journal? I've had a couple that I had to just wander around
until someone in the party said something. I couldn't look
up what the "quest provider" said.

Oh yeah, please let me know if you can get down to the second
level. Mine keeps freezing up.

No, not yet. I was just over there looking for a place to tell
them. I couldn't find it, so I came back. I guess I'll go
check again. I've found a bunch of new items, certain people
have one or two new things. If you have anyone that uses a
mace, there's a +4 elemental mace (I believe that's it) at one
of the merchants. It looked pretty cool.
BTW, what other NPC's have you run across?

LoL...Well, I mean just...well...go take a peek...I love just
going invisible or hiding in shadows and wait until the
Glabrezu demolishes everything downstairs. Rush upstairs with
it in tow, and hide everyone. Go to a different room and cast
mass inv. ( if I have it) or potions. Wait for a while, the
poor mages and spell casters blow a bunch of their defensive
spells. Pop out Jaheira, insect swarm, and start bashing.
Needless to say, out goes that plan. Need to gameplan now.

Another expansion!!!!!!! Cool. Do u get the old characters from BG back. Cuz u talked bout Kagain, and he is in BGI. But thanx, i'll check it out!

As far as I know, at least Shar-Teel, Kagain, Montaron and Xzar are making their return as npc's... I even heard the name of Kivan but I'm not sure about that one yet.

I downloaded TDD in 9 hourss but the installation fails on verifiying installer at 100%,please tell me whats wrong ,should i download it again?

Do you have Throne of Bhaal installed? If so, it will not
work. You also are supposed to have any patches for SoA
installed prior to installing TDD. What exactly happens when
it fails?

As for downloading again, I would definitely try to figure it
out first. 9 hours, ouch..

I Have No Throne of Bahl installed and I have baldurdash and official patches installed,it says installer CRC invalid for the error

I haven't gotten far enough into it yet. There are a few bugs
to be worked out. One of the kits doesn't work for me. A
couple of other things. Kit saying I could only go 17 str, but
I have 18/72. Things like that.

You might try uninstalling TDD. Then reinstalling it, before
you try downloading again.
