What kind of new Area would you add?
What kind of new monster(s) would you add?
What kind of npcs would you add?
What new stronghold would you add?
And what would you change?


I would add a whole new prison area with the gallows and the works
A Balrog,unlike the shitty ones in D2 with immense power ,a flame whip and sword and massive wings to batter you down
A no shit attitude halfling with a donald duck voice and a tendency to like men
To be a judge that decides sentences of all the criminals in Athkatla and watch them being carried out
The paperdolls make them look like scanned photos of real people

No seriously, I haven't played much of the game yet but I think there should be more romance choices, for both male and female. Also, for multiplayer games, each PC should be able to have his/her own stronghold instead of only the leader. Oh, and I think a half-orc NPC would be rather interesting, as would a good dwarf. In general the game could probably benefit from another handful of NPC's, considering how big the game is and also how many different kits and multi/dual classes there are. There is no need to have 3 mage/thief NPC's. Bleh.

I agree that the game needs more romances, with characters like:

Mazzy, Cernd, Korgan and Edwin, that would be cool, I always thought it was a bit unfair for those who played female characters that they only got 1 romance while male characters got 3.

actually everyone gets 4 romances if you SK the gloabal vars enough - some might consider it a bit pervy tho. even the women around here play blokes tho. i dunno why.

i would add -

aeries wings - maybe she'll shut up. and maybe stop dying.
some more NPCs - woudnt everyone

AI that knows TO AVOID LAVA POOLS

more subtle trap spotting - like it slowly appears depending on your skill and the difficulty. and maybe for everyone, with theives just getting it faster.

alignment having an effect

more reliable potions - whenever it slows down i can only drink about 1/3 of the time. thats a good way to get dead.

the ability to go back to athkatla from ToB. i think the Pocket Plane should be able to handle it.

the ability to go back to Baldurs Gate from BG2. no reason why but it could be cool.

multiplayer better. like having the game continue when the protaginist dies, competitive modes etc.

im sure i can think of loads more.

I would definitely add some thief NPC's. there really arent any good straight theives. Ide like there to be some assassin's and maybe a few cool swashbucklers. Also More dragons, maybe even a Dracolich.

id add an area like death valley, that had a rock spire mountain that you climb to get to an immense cave/maze. theres all kinds of potions of giant stregth, well where are the giants? unless ive missed them i havent finished the game yet.

maybe class specific story lines, that would be really cool.

im k=not sure elminster is in this game bout i havent run accross him. u dcould run into a supremely powerful evil bad guy and get smacked all roud then have elminster come and save your a**. itd b cool to see what kind of phat abilities hes got.

that dragons should have massive treasure
hordes.

I would include the abilitie to resurrect your PC. NPC's can die and brought back but when your PC dies, the cleric in the party hasn't the common decency to resurrect him/her.

i would add more intervention from other forgotten realms characters. i may not have found him in two but volo is in bg one there should be a sub quest with him. elminster is in it no way near enough imagine havin him in your party for a quest.

Your character should be able to start the game as a drow. it would add a whole new level to the game as practically every race despises the drow

id make the drow city far more complex. both fighter societies would have actual training facilities where a character (pc or npc) could pay to train and IF they survived theyd get something like +1 to hit with a specific weapon or the like. same with the mage guild; an opportunity to learn an otherwise unavailable (drow only) spell or purchase/create a unique item.

i cant say how disappointed i was the first time the roenalls came to attack me at my keep. i was all ready for a "my party vs an army" type of confrontation; then i walk outside and it's just him and your standard adventuring crew with him. i suppose the engine wasnt designed to handle too many creatures at once but i would definitely put in a few truly large battles. the keep is one; ust natha another; and how nice would it have been to arrive at suldanessalar during the fight rather than when irenicus' troops are in cleanup mode.

I'd expand it so you can have up to 8 npcs in a party, and I'd definetely have a far larger selection of portraits.

I agree totally, even though the engine probably wouldn't handle it - BIG proper armies should have been involved, like where there were formations of troops. You could even have your party and yourself fighting with an army, vs another army..... but i guess that would be too hard for Bioware...
Also more chars in the party would be great

NPC's of every kind would also be nice (no need to play the game dozens of times to see which class and kit you like best) and naturally any dungeon-like area would be welcome. I also want my own dragon to fly around on (saves on the boots you know) and a tailor to costumize how my character looks. Fully.http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif I hate the choice you have to make between thieves, because you can either play a thief yourself(fun, but not everytime again), get Yoshimo(you know the problem) or, and that´s where I always end, go get Jan. He´s funny and all that, but going through the game for the third time, I really grow tired of him.
