Following suggestions last week from ALSb members, I have now set up the holy temple of Aerie.
This is a place dedicated to our goddess Aerie the Avariel and her angels: Nalia and Jaheira! We only allow Aerie, Nalia or Jaheira lovers in! I have just restarted BG2 and am playing a GOOD character. This time I have actually kept Aerie and am playing the Romance thread. I am discovering a certain usefullness for her as well as for Nalia who i normally ignore after her quest is finished. Aerie is a fine addition to my party, has yet to winge after seven quests and is all round nice (if slightly innocent to the ways of the world).

This is a nice place. But you know what it's missing?
A huge bunch of evil scum ransacking it. Wouldn't it be great? Like, you'd have big, burly blokes in chain mail and furs smashing pews and knocking over Aerie-shapes statues, stealing anything made of gold (several golden oscar-like Aerie idols would appear on the Athkatla Black Market!) and generally burning the place on their way out. You'd have the bleached-blonde, anorexic priestesses all wailing and frightened and pressed in a corner, but not too tightly pressed because they HATE it when someone invades their personal space; the effeminate, New Man priests would pause in their flower arranging only to have their heads lopped off by the aforementioned scum; and a good time would be had by all. You'd have to rebuild the place until we could do it again, but I'm sure we would wait. Who wants to do some ransacking? |

Granted, I'm just a know-nothing newbie, but is there room in the band for me? Aerie's my fave NPC, and Nalia's also very cool (Jahiera whines a lot, but I live with it.) Generally, all three of them kick butt!
