I ve two thing to say..
Fisrt of all i want to talk about my game.I ve fallen in love with Jaheira and you know that my love is a druid who is True Neutral .In my game i am a paladin (Lawfull good)and my reputation is HEroic.Are those affect my love..Cause smtimes jaheira is talking in the game that we must keep the balance.I am not sure but if she is talking about those two things i am ready to do everything..
i can decrease my rep...
Second one is about all Aeria lovers..I don not want to upset or make angry anybody but i can't understand you guys..If smtg ,is easy it is not attractive.Ýf everything is good and easy you can't understand the value of your love.Think all the game(I am not sure about TOA maybe in it they make smtg for it..)is Aiera doing smtg have merit in it..I am not talking about sexual things.This romance is only including good sides..There is no balance in it.
She is fallen in love with you cause you are the first man that she met.So you are the first.She loves you because she did'nt know annyone..She is not open minded yet.Of course she likes you because of this.She only uses you to live different things that she can't taste when she has wings.(You can think that i am a little bit nuts about romance when you think like this you can cacth the atmosphere)
Dream about a love that has balance in it.There are bad sides so you can understand the marveleousity of you love.Hate,pain,revenge But RESPECT,PEACE,LOVE...I know that it s not easy to have Romance with Jaheira but also i know that i am not alone..Jaheria lovers i am waiting your support...

Well, first of all...I hate to disappoint you, but as a druid, Jaheira is "True Neutral", not "Neutral Good." As a true neutral, she isn't going to like it when your rep gets high (like around 19 or 20), so she'll start complaining a bit. HOWEVER: it does not affect your relationship, nor will it cause her to leave. Neutrals will stay with a party no matter what the rep is.

Interesting points you bring up about the "romance" factor, especially with depth coming from experience. Just for clarification, what is "smtg"? It is an acronymn that I am unfamiliar with.

Jaheira and Aerie will compete for your affections initially. Eventually they get very jealous and confrontational and you will be forced to make a choice between the two in terms of who you are going to have a romance with. Of course you can always choose neither of them.

Yeah, basically. Talk about putting you on the spot huh? No matter who you choose they will both stay in the party so don't worry.
What I've wondered is that aside from being a bit of side-entertainment, do romances actually have any practical value? Do they do anything to you or your gf's stats? I dunno. Just curious about that.

I dont think that 20 Reputation will not kick Neutral characters out of party. Only, they whine a little bit that's all. But if you bring your rep very low, they leave.

But kick out Jaheira she's a blunt, not like a girl.

Anyway, I agree and disagree. Aerie knows very well that she is innocent, and she is easily hurt due to this. So any rash moves you do to her will affect her more than it will affect Viconia or Jaheira. The only difference is that since Aerie hasn't experienced the bad side about a relationship, she falls easier unlike the husband robbed Jaheira or the longing for trust Vic. It just so concludes that it will all boil down to one thing: they will LOVE you okay? I have both Viconia and Jaheira in my party. The moment I added Viconia, she started a romance with me. Typical Drow stuff, testing me and thowing out occassional insults. About 35 days into the game, the two women went at it verbally, with Jaheira basically asking me to tell Viconia to take a hike.

Fortunately, one of my options as a reply was "I value your opinion Jaheira. Consider me warned". This didnt seem to get either woman angry. Viconia has been sharing my sleeping bag for the past week and is still testing me, but her personality is becoming softer and more feminine. Not quite what you'd get from Aerie but that's to be expected.

To be honest I like the challenge of romancing Viconia. My protagonist is a good character and I have him behaving as such. From what I understand you can get Viconia to change alignments (become Good) and that's my goal. So far its been a worthwhile "quest".

Reputation and Jaheira;
A high reputation won't give any problems with Jaheira. She will always comment with "I hope this is not a sign of things to come. We must strife to maintain bala´nce" but actually for the Romance the higher the rep the better. You can never be too good for Jaheira, because you even have to prove her that you didn't fall for your evil heritage.

You can change Viconia's alignment?! Will she stay in the party if you are romanceing her and you get past 18 rep?

Viconia: Yees she will leave your party, if you're above 18, even if you're romancing her. I would advice to steal from a merchant (or two) who do not have something valuable and who are standing very isolated (there are some). Then your're at rep 16 when you leave the city and can do the mindflayer quest later which would give another rep point.

When you say in ToB, does that mean only when it is installed, or only when you enter the expansion itself?

Theoretically, if you want to be a 'playa,' you should be able to woo all 3 girls at the same time....and make them like it, if you've got enough Charisma. Hey, maybe you could wear the Boots of Speed, too....if they double your movement rate, it can double the amount of time you spend with each girl, right? So, let's see, they each get 2/3rds of my time and 1/3rd of my 19 CHA.... Who's complaining?

I can't really speak with authority on this subject, as I'm still doing BG1, but IMHO:
Jaheira: Lousy Fighter, lousy Druid. Branwen, Yeslick, and Canderous are all better, AND they don't complain as much! Yay!
Viconia: Didn't like ANYTHING about her. Looks, personality, alignment, stats, you name it. And hey, 50% Magic Resistance is a REAL pain when trying to Heal yourself, especially when you've got no hitpoints. Yes, I know they fixed that in BG2, but in BG1, it really sucks.
Aerie: You're right...she DOES look like an anorexic 12-year-old! How old is she supposed to be, anyway? And yes, the eyes are indeed freaky. Maybe if she didn't look like she was about to either A) Start crying or B) Break into an epileptic seizure at any moment...

Jaheria always babbles on about balance. I for get what your rep has to be to make her shut up, put its in the hand book.

between 10 and 12 she doesn't complain all the time.

I have rep =10 and sometimes can hear: balance needs to be helped with force - what a spirited girl!

Aerie sleeps with you once then thinks she is wrong, Viconia sleeps with you, has a row then does it again!
And Jaheira is the only one who doesnt play up on ya, she must just be more experienced!!

Chan,I found Jaheira very phyicaly attractive but she really gave the other npcs shit,thats why many other people are put off by her,but yeah shes damn hot.

I just recently finished Baldur's Gate and Throne of Bhaal, with Jaheira as my character's romantic companion. Without spoiling too much.... let me just say that hers has to be the most fun romance in the game. I still remember that time when my party was ambushed by bandits and they had taken Jaheira as hostage.... the results of your actions were quite hilarious I must admit. I wonder if the other romances have this incident...

Nevertheless I must say that the romance does reach a rather abrupt end in ToB. Since you didn't ask for spoilers, I'm not going to reveal any, lets just say that you won't get as far in your romance as you probably would with either Aerie or Viconia... which is not saying much. To put it succintly, I was slightly dissapointed in the end.

Just my thoughts though.
